This guide is only a starting point. It is recommended that entrepreneurs use their own formatting, design, consolidated/expanded sections as needed, and re-order slides however makes the most sense for your pitch.

However, you must provide content for all sections in this guide.

You should be able to make it through the content in 30 minutes, but be prepared to discuss additional granularity to answer questions for our analysis.

9. Financials

Pitch Deck Sections

•8-12 quarters of financial forecasts (quarterly or monthly)

§ These must tie back in to the deliverables from the raise and include color on key assumptions such as user count and expected hiring plans

§ Capital raised should also appear here and to give a clear picture of financial runway based on reasonable expectations on expenses and growth

•Current financial position/balance sheet.

§ A snapshot of your current liquidity (aka bank account balance –outstanding S/T debt like credit cards and trade payables) and any L/T liabilities.

§ Should include current funding and runway.
