This illustrious event featured teams representing 26 nations from five continents. Although athletes were performing as individuals, and a significant number of the team won medals, the competition format meant that all performances were graded on a 100point scale, rather like a combined events competition. The team with the highest aggregate score after 10 events, is then declared the World Cup winner. The ESAA Girls team ultimately won the World Schools Cup, with a world record points score, over 50 points ahead of our French Hosts.
