INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION

CYCLON is the brand name of a comprehensive line of products that meet every lubrication need, with over 200

grades of lubricants for the automotive, industrial and specialty markets.

CYCLON lubricants are produced and packed at the CYCLON HELLAS S.A. refinery using the latest KTI Netherlands

and IFP equipment and technology and are formulated in cooperation with major international additive companies as

Ethyl, Lubrizol, Oronite, Rohm & Haas etc.

All CYCLON products are produced according to the latest specifications of the American Army (U.S.MILitary), the

American Petroleum Institute (API) and the largest car manufacturers (VW Group, Mercedes Benz-MB, Ford, etc.).

Many of the CYCLON lubricants have also been officially approved by the above agencies. By value of these

approvals, CYCLON HELLAS S.A. is one of the major suppliers to the Greek state companies (Pubic Power

Corporation, Railroad, Urban Transportation etc) and the Greek Armed Forces.

CYCLON HELLAS S.A. has been awarded the ISO 9002 Certificate of Approval for the production and distribution of

base oils, lubricants and greases since June 1993.

CYCLON HELLAS S.A. can also produce any specialty product a client may require.

GENERAL GENERAL INFORMATIONINFORMATION

GENERAL

The term “lubricant” denotes a material used to reduce friction between two moving surfaces in contact.

This material can be solid, liquid or gaseous and its selection is based on the particular application. Liquid is by far the

majority of the types of lubricants used and therefore the one analysed here. Liquid lubricants are usually produced

using “mineral oils” or simply “oils”.

A lubricant is a mixture of two categories of components, the “base” lubricant (either mineral or synthetic) and the

“additives” (synthetic compounds).

The base lubricant is the carrier for the additives, compounds that either enhance the properties of the base or provide

the final lubricant (mixture) with new properties.

Additive dosage can be any percentage from 0% to 50%, and the base from 100% mineral to 100% synthetic,

depending on the intended application.

Mineral oils are a mixture of hydrocarbons (chemical compounds consisting of carbon and hydrogen). Hydrocarbons

are classified, depending on the type of carbon-carbon chemical bonds, as paraffinic (single linear bonds), olefinic

(double linear bonds), naphtenic (single cyclic bonds) and aromatic (double cyclic bonds). A typical paraffinic type

base oil (the majority of mineral base oils) consists of 60-70% paraffinic, 20-30% naphtenic and 10-20% aromatic

hydrocarbons. Synthetic base oils have a far more controlled composition since they are usually polymers produced in

vitro (e.g. PAO=Poly Alpha Olefins, diesters, polyolesters).

Additives are complex chemical compounds as polymers (e.g. silicones, polyesters), organ metallic compounds (e.g.

zink-di-thio-phosphate=ZDTP) etc.

TOXICITY

To access the toxicity of a lubricant, the sum of (toxicity X content) for all of its components has to be evaluated.

Mineral base oil hydrocarbons have no toxicity except for the aromatics. Of these the mono-aromatics have low

toxicity and low (5-10%) fraction, while the di- and poly-aromatics have high toxicity but are virtually non-existent when

modern base oil production technology is used. The overall conclusion is that the properly produced mineral base oils

are essentially harmless unless the user is especially susceptible to irritation or handles base oils frequently.

Synthetic base oils are harmless due to their increased stability.

Additives, especially before their blending with the base oil, are usually of medium to high toxicity, which is

substantially decreased, when they are blended in the base oil.

In conclusion, lubricants are products of low toxicity and essentially harmless, when some simple precautions are

taken.

Specifically, skin contact, vapor inhalation and liquid swallowing have to be avoided. Prolonged and/or repeated skin

contact may cause from skin irritation to severe skin diseases. Vapor inhalation may cause lung inflammation. Due to

the low lubricant volatility this might happen only when the lubricant is hot or in aerosol form. Liquid swallowing,

although rare, has to be treated only by a physician, and vomit should NOT be induced or severe lung damage may

result.

Used motor oils, due to the presence of components produced during their use, are more hazardous than new oils and

skin contact has to be avoided or severe skin diseases may result.

Used transformer lubricants are considered extremely hazardous due to the possible presence of the extremely toxic

compound “clofen”, and must be handled by experienced personnel only.

LUBRICANTS CATEGORIESDepending on their use, lubricants can be classified as follows :

1. General purpose lubricants Lubricants for simple lubricating applications as anti-rust protection, noise reduction etc. usually containing no additives.2. LUBRICANT SELECTION

For the selection of the suitable lubricant for a certain application, it is necessary to follow the next steps:

1. Check the equipment manual (if there is one) for information about the lubricant properties and/or if a certain

brand/type of lubricant is recommended.

2. Select the lubricant brand to be used, and if there is no equipment manual, describe the application to the

company’s technical client service.

From the above sources determine the following:

1. Type (category) of the application (see previous section).

2. Specification of the lubricant to be used - This should be at least equal or higher than the recommended, unless the

equipment manufacturer indicates only a certain specification or excludes another.

3. Grade of the lubricant to be used - Since the actual operating conditions (equipment condition, environment etc.)

might be different than those specified in the lubricant recommendation, the grade of the lubricant has to be adjusted

accordingly (e.g. higher grade for higher operating temperatures).

4. From points 1 to 3 above, the specific lubricant of the chosen brand to be used.

In case of partial lubricant change or topping up, the miscibility of the two lubricants has to be confirmed by either the

specification itself or the lubricant producer, who should perform (if in doubt) miscibility tests.

SERVICE LIFEThe service life of a lubricant is determined by the following factors (only the major factors listed - the importance of every factor is specific to every application) : 1. Type of applicationSome applications (e.g. hydraulic systems) have virtually no detrimental effects on the lubricant, while others (e.g. internal combustion engines) inevitably break down the lubricant.2. Quality of base oils and additives usedSynthetic base oils are more resistant than mineral base oils and the quality of mineral base oils can vary significantly depending on their production method/conditions used. The quality of the additives used depends also on their production method/conditions used.3. Environmental conditionsHarsh environmental conditions (e.g. city traffic) are more detrimental than mild conditions (e.g. highway traffic).4. Equipment conditionThe age and maintenance of the equipment can affect significantly lubricant service life (e.g. contamination of the lubricant in a new internal combustion engine is less than in an old engine). 5. Fuel quality (for internal combustion engines)Low fuel quality (e.g. high sulphur content in diesel fuel) affects adversely lubricant service life.

DETERMINATION OF CHANGE INTERVALSLubricant change intervals are determined by comparing the cost/time of change vs. cost of maintenance for variable length change intervals.In cases where the cost/time of change are low, the change interval can be predefined and the lubricant inspection is done only concerning its quantity (e.g. automobile and other small engines).In cases where the cost/time of change are high, the change interval is determined for every lot by visual inspection and/or laboratory tests done at regular intervals (e.g. large hydraulic systems, industrial applications, marine engines).Examining the color and the purity of the lubricant does visual inspection. Darkening of color (for industrial lubricants) could signify emulsion formation, lubricant oxidation, dust contamination, sludge formation, seal material decomposition etc.Contamination (presence of insoluble foreign substances) can be caused by sludge, varnish, combustion products, dust etc.

DETERMINATION OF CHANGE INTERVALSSuch indications have to be followed by laboratory tests to determine the cause of the lubricant degradation : 1. Viscosity change- Increase in viscosity can be caused by lubricant oxidation insoluble presence or evaporation of light fractions. Decrease in viscosity can be caused by fuel contamination or break down of the viscosity index improver of multigrade lubricants. The generally accepted limits for viscosity change are ±10% and for fuel contamination 5-10%.2. Flash point (FP)- Lower flash point indicates fuel contamination.3. Color- Darkening of color might be caused by lubricant oxidation, combustion products, polymer contamination etc. This change is natural for internal combustion engine lubricants since they contain dispersant/detergent additives.4. Total Acid Number (TAN) or Total Base Number (TBN)- Increase in TAN signifies lubricant oxidation. Decrease in TBN signifies additive consumption. Change limits usually used are a 50% reduction in TBN or a 2 mg KOH/g TAN increase.5. Ash- Increase of ash is due to lubricant evaporation or metallic parts wear. Decrease of ash usually signifies fuel or water contamination.6. Insoluble in pentane and toluene- These are due to lubricant degradation, metallic parts wear, dust and carbon contamination etc. Pentane insoluble should not exceed 5%, while toluene insoluble should be less than 3%. The difference of these values (pentane insoluble minus toluene insoluble) is a measure of lubricant oxidation and should not exceed 1% and 2% for gasoline/diesel engines respectively.7.Water- The presence of water is due to moisture condensation or cooling system leakage. It should be less than 0.5%.8. Metals- The additives of a lubricant usually contain certain metals. Detection of different metals than these indicates wear of metallic parts made of those metals and their concentration is a measure of the wear extent.

STORAGE Lubricants (not used mixed with water to form an emulsion) have very long storage life, if stored in accordance with the correct storage practice. The factors that are detrimental to stored lubricants are moisture, dust, high temperatures and large temperature variations. The optimal storage of lubricants kept in tanks, drums or small containers is indoors. If this not possible i.e. they have to be stored outdoors, then the following order of storage and precautions should be kept: 1. Storage in tanks (bulk)The tank should be covered for protection against the rain and the sun and every opening should be sealed airtight except the relief valve. If the tank contents are not used regularly, visual inspection should be made every time a lubricant quantity is taken.2. Storage in drumsThese should be kept sealed, inclined on a supporting base. If they have to be upright, their openings should be covered. If for any reason a drum is opened, it should be afterwards kept indoors. Reconditioned drums are more susceptible to damage and therefore should be treated accordingly. During occasional lubricant transfers the pump and ancillary material should be kept thoroughly clean.3. Storage in containersPlastic or metal containers should be fully covered with some flexible, water and heat resistant material.

If the above detrimental factors are not permitted to influence stored lubricants, their storage life exceeds a 5 year period. The only exception are emulsifiable lubricants which have a storage life of 6 months (if protected from high temperatures and large temperature variations).

DESIGNATION DESCRIPTION

1. Gasoline EnginesSC-1964

The category SC denotes service typical of gasoline engines in 1964 through 1967 models of passenger cars and some trucks. Oils designed for this service provide control of high and low-temperature deposits, wear, rust, and corrosion in gasoline engines.

SD-1968The category SD denotes service typical of gasoline engines in 1968 through 1970 models of passenger cars and some trucks. Oils designed for this service provide more protection against high and low-temperature engine deposits, wear, rust, and corrosion in gasoline engines that meet the requirements of API category SC.

SE-1972The category SE denotes service typical of gasoline engines in passenger cars and some trucks beginning with 1972 and certain 1971 through 1979 models. Oils designed for this service provide more protection against oil oxidation, high-temperature engine deposits, rust, and corrosion in gasoline engines than oils that meet the requirements of API category SC or SD.

SF-1980The category SF denotes service typical of gasoline engines in passenger cars and some trucks beginning with the 1980 through 1988 models. Oils developed for this service provide increased oxidation stability and improved antiwearperformance relative to oils that meet the requirements of API category SE. These oils also provide protection against engine deposits, rust, and corrosion.

SG-1989The category SG denotes service typical of gasoline engines in 1989 or after models of passenger cars, vans, and small trucks. These oils include the performance properties of API category CC. Oils developed for this service provide improved control of engine deposits, oil oxidation, and engine wear relative to oils developed for previous categories. These oils also provide protection against rust and corrosion.

DESIGNATION DESCRIPTION

1. Gasoline EnginesSH-1994

The category SH denotes service typical of gasoline engines in 1993 or after models of passenger cars, vans and small trucks. Oils developed for this service provide improved control of engine deposits, wear, corrosion and oil oxidation relative to oils that meet the requirements of API category SG.

SJ-1997Category SJ was adopted in 1996 to describe engine oil first mandated in 1997. It is for use in service typical of gasoline engines in present and earlier passenger cars, vans and light trucks operating under vehicle manufacturers' recommended maintenance procedures. Oils meeting API SJ requirements have been tested according to the American Chemistry Council (ACC) Product Approval Code of Practice and may utilize the API Base Oil Interchange and Viscosity Grade Engine Testing Guidelines. They may be used where API Service Category SH and earlier categories are recommended

SL-2001Category SL was adopted to describe engine oils for use in 2001. It is for use in service typical of gasoline engines in present and earlier passenger cars, sport utility vehicles, vans and light trucks operating under vehicle manufacturers' recommended maintenance procedures. Oils meeting API SL requirements have been tested according to the American Chemistry Council (ACC) Product Approval Code of Practice and may utilize the API Base Oil Interchange and Viscosity Grade Engine Testing Guidelines. They may be used where API Service Category SJ and earlier categories are recommended.

SM-2004The category was introduced in November 30, 2004. The SM classification was created, and finally put in practice, in order to classify gasoline powertrains of modern passenger cars and light trucks operating under vehicle manufacturers´ recommended maintenance procedures. SM-classified lubricant oils are designed in such a way as to provide for improved oxidation resistance, improved deposit protection, better wear protection, and better low-temperature performance over the life of the oil. Some SM oils may also meet the latest ILSAC specification and/or qualify as Energy Conserving.

2. Diesel EnginesCC

The category CC denotes service typical of certain naturally aspirated, turbocharged, or supercharged diesel engines operated in moderate to severe duty service and certain heavy duty gasoline engines. Oils designed for this service provide protection from high-temperature deposits and bearing corrosion in diesel engines and also from rust, corrosion, and low-temperature deposits in gasoline engines. These oils were introduced in 1961.

CDThe category CD denotes service typical of certain naturally aspirated, turbocharged, or supercharged diesel engines where highly effective control of wear and deposits is vital or when using fuels of wide quality range, including high sulphur fuels. Oils designed for this service provide protection from bearing corrosion and from high-temperature deposits in diesel engines.

CD-IIService typical of 2-stroke diesel engines requiring highly effective control over wear and deposits.

CE-1983Service typical of certain turbocharged or supercharged heavy duty diesel engines manufactured since 1983 and operated under both low speed/ high load and high speed/ high load conditions.

CF-4 Service typical of high-speed, four-stroke cycle diesel engines. API CF-4 oils exceed the requirements for the API CE category, providing improved control of oil consumption and piston deposits. These oils should be used in place of API CE oils. They are particularly suited for on-highway, heavy-duty truck applications. When combined with the appropriate "S" category, they can also be used in gasoline and diesel powered personal vehicles — i.e., passenger cars, light trucks, and vans — when recommended by the vehicle or engine manufacturer.

CG-4 1994Describes oils for use in high speed four-stroke –cycle diesel engines used in both heavy-duty on-highway (0,05% wt sulphur fuel) and off- highway (less than 0,05% wt sulphur fuel) applications. CG-4 oils provide effective control over high temperature piston deposits, wear, corrosion, foaming, oxidation stability, and soot accumulation. These oils are specially effective in engines designed to meet 1994 exhaust emission standards and may also be used

CH-4 1998API Service Category CH-4 oils are suitable for high-speed, four-stroke diesel engines designed to meet 1998 exhaust emission standards and are specifically compounded for use with diesel fuels ranging in sulphur content up to 0.5% weight. CH-4 oils are superior in performance to those meeting API CF-4 and API CG-4 and can effectively lubricate engines calling for those API Service Categories.

CI-4 2002Introduced in 2002. For high-speed, four-stroke engines designed to meet 2004 exhaust emission standards implemented in 2002. CI-4 oils are formulated to sustain engine durability where exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is used and are intended for use with diesel fuels ranging in sulphur content up to 0.5% weight. Can be used in place of CD, CE, CF-4, CG-4, and CH-4 oils. Some CI-4 oils may also qualify for the CI-4 PLUS designation.

Oxidation and rust inhibitors, defoamers and pour depressants may be used to improve the oil. Friction modifiers and extreme pressure agents may not be used.

GL-2This service is in automotive worm-gear axles operating under such load, temperature and sliding velocity that API GL-1 lubricants are not satisfactory.

GL-3This service is in spiral-bevel axles and manual transmissions operating under moderately severe speed and load, where API GL-2 lubricants are not satisfactory.

GL-4This service is characteristic of automotive gears, particularly hypoid, operated under high speed/low torque; and low speed/high torque conditions.

GL-5This service is characteristic of automotive gears, particularly hypoid, operated under high speed/shock load; high speed/low torque; and low speed/high torque conditions.

Lubrication at intervals of 3200 km or less for passenger cars. The grease shall resist oxidation and consistency degradation while protecting the chassis components and universal joints from corrosion and wear under lightly loaded conditions.

LB Service typical of chassis components and universal joints in passenger cars, trucks and other vehicles under mild to severe duty i.e. in vehicles operated under conditions which may include prolonged relubrication intervals, or high loads, severe vibration, exposure to water or other contaminants etc.Lubrication at temperatures form -40°C to 120°C over prolonged relubrication intervals (more than 3200 km for passenger cars). The grease shall resist oxidation and consistency degradation while protecting the chassis components and universal joints from corrosion and wear even when aqueous contamination and heavily loaded conditions occur.

GAService typical of wheel bearings operating in passenger cars, trucks, and other vehicles under mild duty i.e. in vehicles operated with frequent republication in no critical applications.Lubrication for a limited temperature range. Many products of this type are limited to bearing temperatures of -20°C to 70°C. No additional performance requirements are specified for these greases.

GBService typical of wheel bearings operating in passenger cars, trucks, and other vehicles under mild to moderate duty i.e. in most vehicles operated under normal urban, highway, and off-highway service.Lubrication with bearing temperatures from -40°C with frequent excursions to 120°C. During its service life, the grease shall resist oxidation, evaporation, and consistency degradation while protecting the bearings from corrosion and wear.

GCService typical of wheel bearings operating in passenger cars, trucks, and other vehicles under mild to moderate duty i.e. in certain vehicles operated under conditions resulting in high bearing temperatures. This includes vehicles operated under frequent stop-and-go service (buses, taxis, urban police cars etc.) or under severe braking service (trailer towing, heavy loading, mountain driving etc.).Lubrication for a wide temperature range. The bearing temperatures may range down to -40°C, with frequent excursions to 200°C. During its service life, the grease shall resist oxidation evaporation and consistency degradation while protecting the bearings from corrosion and wear.

DESCRIPTION

F1 RACING is a 100% synthetic lubricant, designed to offer to your car ultimate performance and wear protection under the most extreme service conditions. APPLICATIONSF1 RACING is recommended for all four-stroke high performance gasoline and diesel engines including those turbo-charged and naturally aspirated engines ,fitted with catalytic converter and advanced computer controlled multi-valve fuel injection systems. Performance reserves are maintained, especially under demanding driving conditions, even when used with extended oil change intervals and in engines with very low oil consumption.

CYCLON FLUSHING OIL is a pure low viscosity paraffinic mineral oil suitable for general flushing operations.It does not contain additives. Its good solvency assists in removing oxidized oil deposits from circulating oil systems and enginecrankcases during flushing.Attention: Flushing oil is not suitable for use in engines in operation or in equipment under load.

APPLICATIONS

FLUSHING OIL is ideal for engine ,gearboxes or circulating system flushing, as it effectively remove lightly oxidized oil from system piping.Initially lubricant is drained from the system that will be cleaned .All filters should be removed .Fill the system with flushing oil and turn the system on at low speeds without any load until the oil is fully circulated .In case of circulator systems the flushing procedure will last not less than half hour. At the end drain the oil ,replace with a new filter and fill with the appropriate CYCLON lubricant.

DESCRIPTION Premium quality mineral oil-based hydraulic fluids of high Viscosity Index (VI). They are specially intended for hydraulic systems operating under widely varying temperatures conditions, requiring a high level of anti-wear performance. are formulated with good shear stability allowing their use in high-pressure/high-temperature conditions for extended periods of time They surpass all the main international performance standards.

APPLICATIONS

HYDRAULIC SPECIAL series is suitable for high-pressure (>1000psi) hydraulic systems operating in outdoor plants where there are wide temperature variations and the machinery is subjected to cold start-up conditions and high-temperature continuous running. They are highly recommended for hydraulic and circulation systems used in industrial, mobile and marine on-deck machinery applications ,and generally in systems where low start-up and high operating temperatures are typical. Especially suitable for precision machine tools and copying machines ,where minimal viscosity change with temperature is crucial.

DESCRIPTION

HYDRAULIC ZFHYDRAULIC ZF are mineral oil based hydraulic fluids containing zinc-free anti-wear additives. They are formulated for severely stressed hydraulic systems in which high levels of anti-wear performance and/or ultra fine filtration are required. They are fully compatible with the elastomer materials commonly used. They meet major pump manufacturers’ specifications, such as Denison Vickers ,Rexnord–Racine, Mannesmann Rexroth. APPLICATIONS

HYDRAULIC ZFHYDRAULIC ZF series is suitable for industrial and marine hydraulic systems, especially for those operating in wet conditions and have increased demands for ultra fine filtration. They are particularly suitable for use in hydraulic systems equipped with silver plate pumps. They are also suitable for other duties in which lubricants of high oxidation stability and lubrication performance are required.

AIR COMPRESSOR LUBRICANT

DESCRIPTIONHERCULES series are superior quality lubricants formulated with special additives and highly refined base oils for high-pressure air compressors. They fully meet the strictest requirements of DIN 51506 Category VD-L, covering the operation at compression temperatures up to 220°C. They keep pipes, vanes and heat exchangers clean from hazardous carbon deposits, thus reducing maintenance cost. Inferior quality oils could quickly break down and leave hard deposits in the compressor and discharge system.

APPLICATIONSHERCULES series are suitable for the lubrication of stationary and mobile single or multistage reciprocating air compressors operating up to 220°C. Hercules viscosity grades 32 and 46 can be also used for rotary oil-flooded screw air compressors, as well as forcentrifugal air compressors that require oils with good oxidation stability and enhanced antirust ability. Higher viscosity grade as 100 is also suitable for the lubrication of drip-feed vane-type air compressors. Additionally, Hercules oils are suitable for circulation systems with plain and rolling bearings operating at high temperatures.

DESCRIPTION

HERCULES SYN series are advanced synthetic lubricants for high performance reciprocating rotary screw & vane air compressors.They are manufactured from a mixture of poly-α-olefins fluids and special ,latest´s technology additives ,to guarantee optimum antirust, anticorrosion and antiwear (Extreme Pressure additives) protection even at high operation temperatures and pressures. The use of PAO offers exceptional flow characteristics in the lubricant ,easy flow until -44°C and optimum performance in high operation temperatures .

APPLICATIONS

HERCULES SYN is recommended for use in compressors where the the oil temperature cannot be reduced to normal levels and where long, efficient and effective compressor performance is vital. Hercules SYN 68 is commonly used for the lubrication of reciprocating air compressors, turbochargers where the discharge pressure exceeds the 20 bar. Hercules SYN grade 46 is particularly used in wet and dry screw & sliding vane rotary air compressors , operating at high temperatures & pressures (> 100°C& >15 bar).

DESCRIPTION

MATRIX is a superior general purpose water miscible cutting fluid that forms a stable milky white emulsion when mixed with water. It is fortified with bactericide and fungicide additives that prevent the further growth of bacterial in the water--oil dilution. It does not contain phenolic,chlorine or cresylic components.

APPLICATIONSMatrix is a general-purpose metal treatment and forming applications for various ferrous and non ferrous (alloys of copper and of aluminium except manganese). It is suitable for various metal cutting operations as turning, grinding, drilling, threading, facing etc. Suggested dilution ratios vary according to the application and severity of operation from.The usual mixing ration is 5% ensures adequate anticorrosion protection. In operations,such as facing, the dilution ratio is 1,5% up to 2,0%.The product must be kept in a cool place and be used within six months of its production date.The emulsion is prepared by the simple addition of the concentrate to water under gentle agitation and not vice versa. Best results are obtained using a mixing device.

DESCRIPTION

MATRIX STR is a semi-synthetic bio-stable cutting oil.It contains special emulsifier additive that creates a transparent emulsion, lubricity and corrosion inhibitors.It covers a wide range of machining operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It doesn't contain amines in accordance with German TRGS 611 requirements or chlorine.

APPLICATIONS

MATRIX STR is suitable for use in various ferrous and non ferrous metal cutting operations (except manganese) as turning, grinding, drilling, threading, facing etc. It is also suitable for processing of yellow metals given that does not stain on aluminium, bronze or brass. Emulsion preparation : The usual mixing ratio is 1:20 to 1:50

AXELAXEL

MACHINE TOOL AND SLIDEWAY LUBRICANT

DESCRIPTIONAXEL is a machine tool ways and slides mineral oil , formulated with highly refined base oils and carefully selected anti-wear, anti-corrosion, anti-foam additives. Axel contain special "tackiness" agent that prevent sticking or chatter.It combines adhesive and protective properties of a slideway lubricant, with the anti-wear properties of a hydraulic oil. Thismultifunctional nature allows the user to rationalise stocks of machine lubricants.

APPLICATIONS

AXEL are particularly suitable for machine tool ways and slides combined with hydraulic systems. They can be applied either by centralized lubrication, or manually. Axel is also suitable for all those applications require oil with adhesive characteristics like chains cables, etc.AXEL 68: is particularly suitable for the use in small to medium- sized machine tools and in horizontal slide ways . AXEL 220: is recommended in large heavily loaded machine tools and in vertical slide ways .

RADIATOR is an engine coolant concentrated (antifreeze) based on monoethylene glycol,containing no amines,nitrites or phosphates.It is suitable for both petrol and diesel engines .Provides protection against cold whether, and the summer heat,depending on its dilution in deionized water. It contains a well-balanced corrosion inhibitor and anti-foaming additives that provide effective protection to metallic surfaces of radiator made of different alloys, particularly to aluminum alloys that find greater use in modern engines.It meets all European and most International standards.It mixes readily with water and is compatible with cooling system filters and supplemental additives.

APPLICATIONS

It is suitable for car radiators and other closed water circuits operating under extreme temperature conditions. When RADIATOR is diluted with water to a concentration of 50 % by volume is achieved the optimum protection against freezing,boiling and corrosion.Concentrations less than 25% or greater than 70% are not recommended. Radiator should be replaced according to OEM’s recommendations. This product must not be used inside drinking water systems against freezing.

CYCLONFLU PLUS and CYCLONFLU are ready to use antifreeze dilutions in deionized water. It is recommended to drain the cooling liquid after this mileage or every 5 years (whatever occurs first).It meets the requirements of major European Manufacturers and most International standards.

APPLICATIONSRADIATOR Longlife is suitable for passenger car, commercial vehicles and stationery engines operating under extreme temperature conditions. To ensure good corrosion protection it is recommended to use at least 33 vol.% of Radiator LONGLIFE in solution.The maximum frost protection (- 69) is obtained at 68 vol. % of Radiator Longlife. Concentrations less than 33% or greater than 70% are not recommended. This product must not be used inside drinking water systems against freezing.

CYCLONFLU LONGLIFE (G12) is ready to use cooling liquid based on RADIATOR LONGLIFE G12, which can be used in all cooling systems of combustion engines in cars, vans, trucks, buses, constructing machines and agricultural tractors.CYCLONFLU Longlife (G12) is a «very long life» antifreeze solution based on monoethylene glycol and organic corrosion inhibitors. ARMOR may also be used as cooling means of piston ring’s area .

APPLICATIONSArmor Standard is enhanced by rust and oxidation inhibitors and it is mainly used for the crankcase lubrication of the crosshead diesel engines that do not have detergent demands. POSEIDON TT,FT,FF are high alkaline trunk piston engine oils for use in diesel marine engines operating on residual fuel with high sulphur content .They have excellent alkalinity retention characteristics preventing corrosive wear over long periods of operation.

POSEIDON TT,FT,FF are high performance lubricants designed for use in medium speed diesel engines running on residual fuel with sulphur content 2-3%.
