About Me

I am Dung Minh, I am 12 years old. I was born and raised at Vietnam, Hanoi ever since. I attend to U.N.I.S. Hanoi, the best school I've ever attended. I really like photography, it’s my passion to be one. I wrote all of these poems my-self and I hope you like them.

Story Poem

Doing homework

Working really hard

Doing it in the classroom

Trying to make it perfect

A little while ago

I was doing homework

Doing it in school

And had a little time

Had 5 minutes

Rushing through it

Had a little help

But it didn't work

Homework wasn't done yet

But class already started

Thought I would be lucky

But I wasn't lucky

The teacher asked for homework

Saying stupid excuses

She didn't trust me

So I had detention

And now here I am

In detention at lunch

Doing homework

That I should have done

at home.

Haiku - Blanket

It is really soft

It help us sleep through the night

And it makes us warm

Tangerine Poem

On the outside, you look like a orange paintball

You feel like uneven skin

When I peel you, you sound like paper getting torn

Inside you look like a tire

You feel like oil leaking out of your body

You smell like flowers

You taste like a watery gumball

Tell me are you an actual tangerine?

Extended Metaphor

My cousin is a Demon

She does bad stuff around the house

She destroy everything she sees

It's like she has wings, to fly around the house

She plays pranks

She screams at night, the devil shrieks

She throws flour on the floor, devils dust

My cousin is a demon

You should stay away from her.

You are so noisy
