What We Do in The Staff Health Clinic ?

Pre employment medical examination.

General medical care –employees/dependants.

Immunization and preventative care.

Counseling and supportive care.Referral to the specialist care.Other medical examinations.

Are There Any Charges?

• We do not charge you at the Staff Health Clinic.•Essential medicine that are listed at the Pharmacy

are free of charge.

• Non-essential medicines are charged except forSaudi nationals who get all medicines free.

• If you are on an essential medicine that is not onthe hospital list, you have to buy them.

We are located at Ground Floor, Prince Sultan.

Clinic Working Hours

Clinic Hours 08:00 –10:00 - walk-in clinic. 10:30 – 12:00 – appointments. 12:00 – 13:00 – closed for lunch. 13:00 – 14:30 – walk-in clinic. 14:30 – 16:30 – appointments.Walk-in clinic is not a fast track service.

Out of hours – covered by the emergency dept.For emergencies ring emergency dept.Ring “1801” and ask for Sister In-charge.

For difficulties in moving the patients, ring the Sister In-charge Staff health / Emergency dept.

Visiting Staff Health Clinic

A consent form is required. For all visits including walk in

clinics. For all follow up visits. Senior executives and

consultants are exempted.

For Emergencies attend ER

Make half an hour appointment for: Dependents, especially on first visit.

For Dental Care

Visit dental clinic directly during their emergency hour. No need for referral from staff health clinic.

Sick Leave

Sick leave is monitored. Refer to Medical Director

1 day are given for simple conditions. If more than one day is needed the staff will be referred to Outpatient Clinic

( specialist / consultant) . No sick leave for elective procedures.

You have to use your annual leave.

Health and Safety at Work

Fluid splash and needle stick injuries.Follow simple first aid procedure.

Report immediately to your person in charge.Find out the name and ID of the

source patient. Arrange blood test for Hep B, Hep C and HIV.

Health and Safety at Workcontinue

Fill up the “OVR” and attend staff health clinic or emergency department as soon as possible.

For all other injuries and accidents at work fill up the “Employee injury form” and attend the Staff Health Clinic or A&E.

Taking General Care of Yourself

Drink water throughout the day

Protect your skin by appropriate clothing and barrier lotions when exposing to the sun.
