    All you need to do is input the name of the employee and works number

    Then input entitlement in number of days

    In the appropriate cells which represent all the days of the year all you do is input A for annual leave and

    I've also built in for sick absence which also calculates for the year - simply enter S

    Conditional formatting does the rest

    If you copy the whole 1st w/sheet into new sheets for more employees you'll need to give it an instructio

    options - select 'Advanced' option - and in the area 'Display options for this worksheet' - untick 'show a ze

    There must be a way to do it for the whole workbook but I haven't found it yet.

    n not to display zeroes. In 2007 you need to click on the 'Office button' (top left) select Excel
