Welcome to the Island!Thank you for visiting Tybee Island and choosing Tybee Vacation Rentals (TVR) for your stay. Tybee is definitely more than just an island: it’s a feeling. It’s that feeling you get when driving East on Highway 80, passing over the bridges, down the causeway, through the marshes, past the shrimp boats, and onto the island: it begins and ends on that little slice of paradise we call Tybee Island. Located at the eastern end of Highway 80 (the other end is in San Diego), Tybee is the end of the road for some, and the beginning for others. It’s a place where you can escape from the city, get away, kick-back, relax, do nothing, and have fun! Tybee offers vacationers the simple pleasures in life: a chance to enjoy family, spend time with friends, have a slumber party with the kids, vacation with the dog, or get away by yourself! Tybee is your own home away from home. You can relax on the beach, watch the birds and the dolphins, go fishing, collect shells, go for a swim, kayak around the creeks, bike ride, or have a great meal and a margarita! On Tybee you can get in touch with nature, history, and yourself.

TVR is a full service rental management company, specializing in short term vacation rentals on Tybee Island, GA. Our goal is to offer guests exceptional service, excellent value, and a variety of high quality, clean, and well maintained properties. At Tybee Vacation Rentals we care about the vacation experience of our guests and want you to enjoy everything that we love about Tybee. This guide is your handbook to a great stay on Tybee. Inside you will find information about great restaurants, activities and excursions you can discover here on the Island and around Savannah. The partners and businesses listed are the favorites of the TVR staff and ones we feel will provide the best experience for our guests. Not only do we recommend these partners, as residents, we frequent them ourselves. Don’t be surprised to even find someone in a pink TVR shirt at the table next you!

We hope you have a great visit to Tybee Island!

Tybee Island through the eyes of our Guests...

“We had a wonderful vacation. The beach was natural and full of wildlife. There is nothing better than dolphin watching from your balcony almost anytime of day.

We can’t wait to come back!”

“We loved staying on Tybee Island in our Ocean view condo, waking up to a beautiful sunrise every morning and seeing

gorgeous sunsets each night. Very relaxing.”

“On our last day of vacation in Tybee Island I woke everybody up before 6:00 AM and dragged them all down to the beach to watch the sunrise. I can easily say it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.“

Historic Savannah Must-DosNot every beach has one of the most celebrated historic districts as its neighbor. Head into Savannah to enjoy the best of the old and new with a variety of art, music, and historical experiences available.

Take a tour of the city and discover the abundance of charm and beauty... or have a ghostly experience. We recommend Old Savannah Tours or take a Bonaventure Cemetery Tour.

Savor the flavor of the city by visiting one of the many great restaurants. Don’t miss the chance to visit celebrity TV chef, Paula Deen’s The Lady & Sons restaurant which is located in City Market. While there browse the surrounding unique gal-leries and shops filled with treasures.

Park the car and walk the city. Savannah is one of the greenest, most pedestrian friendly cities in America. Visit some of the 22 beautiful park like squares or take a stroll down the cobble-stones on River Street and watch the ships. TIP: Parking is free along the streets of Savannah after 5pm on weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday. Some musts for families include visiting the Jepson Cent-er’s hands-on ArtZeum, the Savannah Children’s Museum’s Imagination Station, and the Georgia Railroad Museum.
