The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is pleased to bring you Pediatric First Aid forCaregivers and Teachers (PedFACTs), a new national pediatric first aid course.

Usually, first aid involves simple, common sense procedures. However, first aid can sometimes mean the differencebetween life and death. All caregivers and teachers should have pediatric first aid training.

The PedFACTs course is designed to give caregivers and teachers the education and confidence they need to effectively care for children. This participant manual is the core of the PedFACTs course with features that willreinforce and expand on the essential information.
