TRAINING PLAN: PRE-GO-LIVE
• Two 4‐hour sessions – trainer led, hands‐on learning
o Epic CPOE* Provider 100: work with admitted patient to gain broad overview, perform common notewriting and ordering activities
o Epic CPOE Provider 200: Learn activities related to major workflow activities of Admission, Transfer, and Discharge Navigators
• Schedule these soon given challenges of finding two 4‐hour blocks in your and the training schedule
o Look at schedule online found on eMergewebsite** under Training (3/23 – 5/16/14)
o Schedule requests managed through central administrator in each Section
• Completing some E‐learning modules will yield greater return from these classroom sessions

At‐the‐Elbow professional staff will be circulating round the clock to provide immediate, on‐site help
BMC Super Users MD colleagues with extra training and dedicated time during first weeks to provide specialty specific help and rapid trouble‐shooting/escalation of issues as they are identified
Command Center –A physical location staffed by BMC, Optimum and Epic staff who provide centralized technical support of BMC staff and above support personnel.
