EMCO Concept MILL 250 with Easy2control touchscreen operation –
for industrial-level training.
Sophisticated technology for industrial machining
Providing perfect training conditions for industrial machining through refined machine
design: the Concept MILL 250 features a powerful direct-drive main spindle (10,000 rpm
and 7 kW), a high feed rate coupled with immense power, a fixed 20-tool magazine, a fast
two-arm changer, and the EMCO WinNC control unit. In addition to CNC milling training,
these high specifications also allow it to be used as a fully-functional production machine,
depending on the specific user requirements. For training at the highest level.
Ideal for training on the latest machining technolo gy
The Concept MILL 250 is typically aimed at industrial training establishments that produce
goods, manufacturing businesses with apprentices and trainees, factories, watchmakers
and jewellery manufacturers, and is suitable for both beginners and advanced trainees with
more demanding requirements. It is ideal for machining steel and aluminium.
Easy2control touchscreen operation
“Easy2control” adds a range of attractive applications to the successful interchangeable
control system used in EMCO training machines. Suitable for use in machines
and simulation workplaces alike, it displays additional control elements directly on the
screen and, when used together with a touchscreen monitor, provides the ideal
input interface. With support for a wide range of keyboard variants, customer-specific
screen layouts and tailored solutions for individual customers, Easy2control represents a
promising and highly flexible extension to the modular EMCO training concept.
The interchangeable controls are represented using an on-screen keyboard,
which makes switching between different control systems even easier and quicker.
Operation is performed using a mouse and PC keyboard. With the touchscreen monitor, users
can
enter information and operate the system directly from the screen.
For the touchscreen solution, EMCO is employing state-of-the-art technology that is already
in use in many aspects of day-to-day life. Through this approach, it is once again taking
a leading role in the field of CNC training.
