Here’s A Simple Trick

Have you ever received an email promotion from somebody else that causes you to take action, even the action of opening it? Take note of that, the subject line, how the body looked, was there a P.S. ?

You can even copy those and change the key words to be yours.

Write Down Your Purpose

• What is the goal of the email?

• Do you want to meet with 10 real estate agents within the next 2 weeks

• Do you want 4 applications

• Do you want them to simply view your video

Ask The 5 Golden Questions

• Who are you?• What do you want? (realtor to watch my video to build my brand)

• Why should I care? (a great tip on getting more listings)

• What’s in it for me? (potentially get more listings)

• What do I do now? (give me a call or shoot me an email to learn more)

Talk To Your Reader Like He Is A Buddy

Talking too loud (writing with all capitals and using a ton of exclamation points)

• How many hours you work

• All the vacations that you are taking

• The fancy car you drive, etc…

Make Your Body Easy To Read

• Remember that most people will scan your message before they read them

• If it is large paragraphs, it will look to long and they wont read it

• Use 50 to 60 character lines of text

• Use a bold font and a slightly larger font size. I usually use 12 to 14

The Key is the action step

• The action step is:

What is the exact action I want the reader to do..

Email me

Forward my message to their friends

• Be clear with your action

• Remember that is the goal of email

• Make the action step easy to follow

Make sure to do a “PS”

• Other than the headline, this is the most read part of an email

• They increase results

• Makes your message more interesting to read

• Comes across as more personal
