• Electronic mail, most commonly referred to as email. • Is a method of exchanging digital

messages from an author to one or more recipients.• Modern email operates across

the Internet or other computer networks.

1.Use a neutral Email address. 2. Use a short and accurate subject header. 3. Use a proper salutation. Addressing the recipient by name is preferred. 4. Introduce yourself in the first paragraph (if necessary).5. Write the actual message. 6. Use the correct form of leave-taking.7. Sign with your full name. 8. Proofread your message for content. 9. Proofread your message for spelling and grammar.
