ITEM AD2-M05 Refer to Section 21 13 13 "Wet-Pipe Sprinkler System" - A second

flow test was conducted in a portion of the water distribution system more relevant to the STEM building. A report of this second flow test and a partial site plan locating fire hydrants are attached at the end of this addendum. The elevation of the fire-line tap is approximately 9' below the flow test hydrant elevations, so the available pressure should be adjusted accordingly. If possible to eliminate a requirement for a fire pump, upsize the fire protection piping to reduce the pipe friction head.

ITEM AD2-E01 Refer to Spec Section 270528, Pathways for Communication Systems. In Section 3.2.I.5, revise statement to read “Change from RNC, Type EPC-40-PVC to GRC before rising above the floor.

ITEM AD2-E02 Refer to Drawing E1.10, Electrical Site Plan, Plan Note *11 and E5.01,

First Floor Communications and Data Plan, Keynote E51. Delete the requirement to provide Maxcell innerduct inside the 4” I.T. conduits. Provide just the conduit and pull strings without the innerduct.

ITEM AD2-E03 Refer to Drawing E2.01, First Floor Lighting Plan. The following placement of devices should be noted to provide the correct coordination with the drawing’s revised floorplan background:

1. In Lecture Hall 134, the Type “K” step lights in the center of the

room need to be shifted into the middle of the open walkway and not under the east tables.

2. In Beresford Endowed Chair 127, the dimming light switch is to be on the wall east of the door opening into the room.

3. In I.T. 131, the dimming light switch is to be inside the room just to the east of the door opening.

4. In Computer Simulation 137, the dimming light switch is to be just to the west of the revised door opening and not behind the door.

ITEM AD2-E04 Refer to Drawing E2.01, First Floor Lighting Plan. The “unnamed” circuit for the Type “G” fixture in the Elevator 000 pit is “LSBD”-8.
