Internet Safety Policy – CIPA – The Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) was enacted by Congress in 2000 to address concerns about children’s access to obscene or harmful content over the Internet. In an effort to help protect student welfare of our students when they navigate the Internet, Elkins School District will work to educate students about appropriate online behavior.
Policies are included in the Student Handbooks and parents are required to return signature pages before students access the internet.
