World War II Why were they fighting?People of Germany didnt like the peace treaty that ended World War I. They had to take the blame for the war, pay millions of dollars, they had to make their army smaller, and lose their land.So the Germans were unhappy with their government and they were poor.They gave power to a dictator, Adolf Hitler who said he would rip up the peace treaty and restore Germanys power and land.Adolf Hitler took control of everyones lives and began the war in Europe.
