2010 general election results

The 2010 general election took place on Thursday 6th May and the results were announced on Friday 7th May.

The votes have been counted from every constituency throughout the UK and it has been announced that there is a hung parliament. This means that no party is an outright leader.

This is the first time that there has been a hung parliament in the UK since February 1974.
