GOING THE EXTRA MILE
ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT 1
In front of you lies a copy of the election
program from Fractie Front 2014/15 and
you can find our targets for upcoming
year.
Our program is composed of our three
main areas of interest, these are: The
Active Student, Internationalization and
Communication. Fractie Front’s founding
vision: ‘Going the Extra Mile’, is the overall
goal that is kept in mind. It is of great
importance that students develop
themselves and that they take themselves
(and others) to the next level. With these
main interests, we want to make it
possible for students to experience a
suburb student time the way that they
want to.
We have written this election program with
the aid of several student representatives
of associations. Amongst others, previous
party members and so-called list pushers
have contributed, additionally we’ve
received enormous feedback during the
Algemene Studenten Vergadering
(General Students Meeting) and the
International Meeting. Thanks to the
contribution from all these students,
Fractie Front has realized a broad election
program that is based on the opinion of a
lot of different students.
The three main goals, as mentioned
above, are the Active Student,
Internationalisation and Communication.
These pillars are well connected to the
slogan of Tilburg University:
“Understanding Society”.
Front has always strong believed that self-
development of the student is of great
importance, which not only contributes to
the development of the student, but also to
the development of the university and the
student life of the city Tilburg. Fractie Front
wants Tilburg University to stimulate this
development by motivating students to get
experiences besides the education. By
doing this, students contribute to the
society; where Tilburg University should
take a pro-active position.
Because of globalisation, the exchange of
knowledge, students and teachers
increases every year. The society is not
just the Netherlands, the whole world has
become our society. Tilburg University has
to give the opportunity to students to
develop themselves as world citizens.
“Understanding society” is especially very
important for the communication between
Tilburg University and their students. The
student has to be aware about the
developments within the University and be
aware about all the facilities available.
Experience is a new point in the election
programme. Fractie Front wants students
to feel more involved with the university.
By doing this, it becomes more attractive
for students to go to our university. This
contributes to the social aspect of
studying, additionally, it also offers more

possibilities to exchange knowledge
between students.
Do you recognise your own way of
thinking in our vision and election
points? Vote between 14 and 17 of
April Fractie Front!
Yours sincerely, Fractie Front
ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT 3
THE ACTIVE STUDENT Going the extra mile. By being active
besides your study, you will not only
create a better career path for yourself, but
also boost your environment.
Become Active Tilburg (Word actief
Tilburg)
Fractie Front supports this commission in
their campaign. The campaign aims at
informing students about the possibilities
and benefits of become active besides
your study.
Integration “being active besides studying”
in an information system
The university should provide students
with extensive information on the benefits
and possibilities of being active besides
their studies.
Introducing several pilot study days

Improving soft skills training
By enhancing soft-skills (like presenting,
negotiating and collaboration) students will
be better prepared for the labor market.
Realizing more video lectures
Video lectures will give students more
flexibility and more a more effective use of
their time.
Get rid of mandatory lectures
The responsibility of attending lectures lies
with the students themselves. Front is
therefore against mandatory lectures.
Promotion of student workplaces
Lots of students are not aware of all the
available workplaces at the university. The
university has to promote the workplaces
and make them more visible.
No further increase of and/or demands for
the binding study advice
Fractie Front is against the BSA in the
second and third year of the bachelor.
Furthermore we’re also against additional
demands for the BSA.
Possibility for every student to attend any
course
Students should have the opportunity to
attend courses within as well the
curriculum without hindrance.
INTERNATIONALIZATION Understanding society is pointed
towards the global perspective of the
university. Tilburg University has to
4 EL
ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT
develop the international orientation of
their students.
Support for the development English
language skills
Front wants to help students with the
development of their English skills by
giving them tailor-made advice on what
is necessary to increase their level of
expertice.
Improving the level of English of
lecturers
It is important that the quality of English
of the lecturer is kept high. The
university should test this and regularly
check it.
Increasing number of classes and
improving the flow to higher level
language course
The university has to ensure that enough
spots in language courses are provided.
Also, Front wants to offer the possibility
to take follow-up courses without
needing to pay a large sum of money or
using one of the remaining 2 language
vouchers.
Improving the exchange of information
The university has to inform students
better about the possibilities and
requirements about going on exchange.
Furthermore, Front believes that going a
semester abroad should be possible
without having a delay in your study
progress.
Improving information provided to
international students about
accommodation
Tilburg University has to provide
international students with a better
overview of the possibilities of
accommodation. This overview should
contain more than just the few housing
agencies so that a fair idea of the
possibilities can made.
Improving work-perspective international
students
Tilburg University should provide better
guidance to international students to the
Dutch labor market. This will result in an
improved investment for the university
and the society as a whole.
COMMUNICATION The university should inform students
better about the decision-making process
and aim to achieve higher involvement by
students.
Improve study advice
Fractie Front pleads for a better study
advice and better communication from the
study advisors- and supervisors to the
students.
Improvement overview of the courses and
workshops
The university should increase the
awareness of the availability of workshops.
This can be done by making a clear
overview in the study guide on blackboard.
ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT 5
Development of instruction videos
Blackboard, COMAP and literature search
There should be short videos which show
the default actions (like registering for
courses and exams) and how they are
done. Additionally, Fractie Front pleads for
an instruction video explaining how to
search for literature.
Improvement of the website
It is of great importance that everyone can
easily find what they need on the TiU
website.
Awareness of exam registration
The university should make sure that
students are aware about the fact that they
have to subscribe for exams.
Distribute practice exams and answer
sheets
Fractie Front wants compliance with the
rules concerning the availability of
example questions. Teachers are
obligated to provide students with example
questions, in which the questions are a
reflection of the actual questions in the
exam.
Transparency in decision making
The information must be made public, so
that interested students are able to get
familiar with the decision making process
of the university.
Compliance with Education and
Examination Regulations
Fractie Front believes is important that
regulations are complied with. Of course,
this also counts for the Education and
Examination Regulations (EER) of all the
faculties. Fractie Front wants to conduct a
complaintbox.
STUDENT LIFE Students should feel at home at Tilburg
University
More commercial establishments
Especially during the summer there is
need for more Horeca. Extra commercial
establishments such as bars, will make
sure that more students will stay at the
campus after their lectures.
Luxurious coffee machine in every building
of the University
The luxurious coffee corner in the library
has been well-received. Therefore. Front
proposes lto place luxurious coffee
machines in the other buildings as well.
Expanding opening hours of the library
Front proposes that the university library
should be open from 08.00 during
weekends.
Expanding opening hours and improving
the price/quality ratio of the food in the
Mensa
Mensa should be open during the
weekends. Furhtermore, the price/quality
ratio should be improved.
6 EL
ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT
Outside workplaces
Front is advocating outside workplaces
with electricity so that students van enjoy
the good weather whilst working.
Student café on the campus
Fractie Front wants to see that students
want to be more on the campus. This can
be realized by having a campus café.
Lounge-corners in different buildings
Lounge-corners should positively affect
atmosphere at the campus. There should
be multiple lounge-corners
ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT 7
“Going the extra mile”, means doing more
than just studying. Next year, Front will
continue to be
committed to the
active student.
Personal
development is
the main
incentive for this. The active student is not
the only one benefiting from what he’s
doing; he also creates chances for people
around him. Front believes that both the
university and the student should be
aware of this. Being or becoming an active
student should not
only be
stimulated; it
should also be
taken into
account that the
student needs space and flexibility.
WORD ACTIEF TILBURG Last year, Word Actief Tilburg (an initiative
of TiGeAk, SOTS and Front) has become
an university-wide concept. WAT is
responsible for a clear awareness-
campaign about the benefits of- and
possibilities to become active next to your
study. Next year, WAT will stay committed
to this and will expand its campaign.
INTEGRATION “BEING ACTIVE
NEXT TO STUDY” IN THE
INFORMATION SYSTEM Front believes that the university should
also play a role in making students more
aware of the benefits of- and possibilities
to become active next to studying. Many
students do not know what being active
has to offer them, both on a personal and
social level.
Tilburg University promotes itself with its
core message “Understanding Society”.
The integration of “being active” in the
information system therefore offers the
university many possibilities. If Tilburg
University wants to grow with this vision in
mind, both in numbers and quality, then
attention for the active student is crucial.
INTRODUCING MULTIPLE PILOT
STUDY DAYS When future students get to go lectures
during the day they get decent idea of the
study, but not the student life of Tilburg.
Therefore the complete overlook for the
new students could be made better with
the presence of evening events. To make
sure that students will attend such
programs they will need some sort of
accommodation. With the help of student
associations Front is vindicating for
multiple consecutive pilot study days. This
will result in more motivated students.
Less stringent requirements on the intensfication of The Excllence
Scolarships
In Strategic Plan: more attention for
student organizations.

8 EL
ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT
These students will probably make a
better study choice, because they will be
better informed.
IMPROVEMENT OF SOFT-SKILLS
TRAINING If you, as a student, want to prepare
yourself for the labor market, then you
should not only focus on content. Soft-
skills (like presenting, negotiating and
teaming) are not only necessary, but could
also – when trained well and deployed in a
strategic way – contribute to the strong
profiling of a student. The university offers
training and workshops to improve these
soft-skills, and also (study) associations
organize activities where students can
participate. However, Front believes that
this could be improved.
The university has to get its students
ready for the moment they’re graduated
and enter the labor market. Training of
soft-skills should therefore be included
university-wide in the studies. This is
possible through integration in courses,
but the introduction of courses specifically
focusing on training of certain soft-skills
would be even more desirable. Involving
experts would be a way to guarantee the
quality of these courses. An additional,
highly important point is that this should be
regulated university-wide: each student at
Tilburg University, regardless of which
faculty this student has to do with, has to
get the chance to prepare himself on the
future in this way.
REALIZATION OF VIDEO
LECTURES
Front advocates the realisation of more
video lectures. Hereby, flexibility will
increase: not only the
active student will
benefit from this:
students will also
get the chance to
follow courses that overlap. Furthermore,
each student has the possibility to again
hear “the bigger story” around the study
material, since this will be available online
at each all times. Lastly, lecturers will be
stimulated to critically look at the content
of their lectures, which enlarges the
efficiency and quality of these lectures.
GET RID OF MANDATORY
LECTURES Teachers are eager to make sure that
students will attend their lectures. Front
believes that the solution is in making the
lectures non-mandatory. Many lectures,
especially work lectures (which are
mandatory now) are seen by students as a
waste of time and additionally those
lectures are not a good reflection of the
subject. The responsibility of attending
lectures with the students themselves.
Front is therefore be against mandatory
lectures.
In strategic plan: no further obligations

PROMOTION OF STUDENT
WORKPLACES The number of student workplaces will
increase in the next few years. But before
these have been realized, the demand for
workplaces will keep growing. Many
students are not aware of certain
workplaces on the
campus and in
the center of
Tilburg. To be
able to meet the
growing demand
for workplaces,
the university
should be
concerned with
the promotion
and visibility of
these student workplaces among students.
NO FURTHER INCREASE OF
ADDITIONAL DEMANDS BINDING
STUDY ADVICE
In previous years is the Binding Study
Advice (BSA) increased from 36 ECTS to
42 ECTS. In the current Strategic Plan the
plan is to raise the BSA to 48 ECTS. Front
is for now against this proposition.
The ministry of Education, Culture and
Science (OCW) has proposed an tentative
with the BSA for the second and third
bachelor years. Fractie Front is fiercely
opposed this and will nog accept any
further inhibitions for students by the BSA.
Students should be able to develop
themselves beside their studies.
Furthermore has the Board of directors of
the University made a proposal about
additional demands
for the BSA,
which could be
adjusted within
the different
faculties. For example the obligation to
accomplish certain courses to get a BSA is
not a good measurement. Fractie Front is
against this measure. A single course
should not be a threshold for gaining the
BSA.
POSSIBILITY FOR EVERY
STUDENT TO ATTEND ANY
COURSE In the curriculum of the bachelor a lot of
students have courses which are
mandatory. Sometimes it is not possible to
attend such course, although it is a
mandatory course. For example at the
TSB, sometimes students will have to
register for lectures exactly at the opening
of this new period. If students are just
moments later then the lecture could be
full and can only be attended a semester
later. Fractie Front will plead for no
hindrance and the ability for students to
apply to courses within their curriculum.
300 workplaces in the heart of Tilburg, in conjunction with
Studentenraad and Soul Café. Free wifi,
enough power supplies, coffee and
food.
Extra workplaces for master students who are working on their
thesis
Stata and other solftware also on the
library computers
Provisionally no additional
requirements on the BSA

10 ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT
Internationalization has become a key
theme for Front and Tilburg University and
the importance of this theme is growing
every year. The university has to follow
this trend by exchanging knowledge, on
the one hand between students and
teachers, and on the other hand between
Tilburg and universities abroad.
Understanding society does not only apply
to just the Dutch society anymore, the
modern definition of society is the entire
global community. The internationalization
of our university is not only clearly visible
in the increasing importance of the English
language. It is also visible in the ever-
growing group of exchange students going
abroad or visiting Tilburg University. An
international orientation also plays an
important role in the modern labor market
and the university has the responsibility to
facilitate the growth of the international
orientation of students.
SUPPORT FOR DEVELOPING
ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS When choosing their study program, many
students immediately eliminate the
international ones, mainly because of the
fear of using the English language.
However, many English courses are also
found in Dutch programs. A lot of students
have trouble with writing, reading and
speaking in English. Because of this
reason, Front wants to incorporate an
assessment of their level of English into a
course of the first year of every bachelor
degree. All freshman students receive
personal feedback and advice whether
and which language course is beneficial
for them. By having personal feedback,
the step to actually take a language
course is lower and makes sure that
language problems are quickly tackled. In
this way they will not keep returning later
in the student’s career.
INCREASING NUMBER OF
CLASSES AND FLOW TO HIGHER
LEVEL LANGUAGE COURSE At this moment there are not enough
places available in a multitude of language
courses from the Language Centre. A
preliminary requirement for several
exchange destinations is that a certain
level of the domestic language is required.
Tilburg University has the duty to provide
spots in the needed courses for this urgent
group of students. The problem of not
having enough room within the groups is a
problem that all students who want to
follow an extra language course face.
Front wants to provide the possibility for all
students who need an extra course, by
creating more groups. Also, all students
get only two vouchers to follow languages
courses. When you spend them both to
follow an extra course, it will cost the
student a huge sum of money to do
another one after those two courses. Front
wants the possibility for students to start a
ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT 11
language course, and then follow
consecutive courses as well, without
having to spend money or a voucher. By
offering this possibility, students are
motivated to do follow-up courses, so that
they can truly learn a language and not
just learn the bare basics.
IIMPROVING ENGLISH LEVEL OF
LECTURERS Tilburg University offers a multitude of
English international studies and language
courses. Front is glad that the university is
doing this, but if the University offers these
English courses, the level of English of the
lecturers should be suited. Unfortunately,
Front has detected that the level of English
from several lecturers is not according to
the standard. The result is that for both
Dutch and international students it
becomes hard to understand what is being
explained in the lectures. This causes the
content of these lectures to be lost.
Therefore Fractie Front wants to include
English in the Basic Qualification
Education (BQE) for international studies.
This should ensure that the quality of
English is sufficient.
IMPROVEMENT INFORMATION
EXCHANGE An exchange semester is a great
opportunity for students to have an
international experience. Not only studying
abroad, but also the whole social
experience outside the lecture hall is an
important for the self-development of the
student. Companies understand the
benefits of having international
experienced employees and having been
abroad is thus an ever more important
criterion in the selection of an employee.
Because of the positive impact on the
development of the student and creating a
better student for the labor market, it is
very important that Tilburg University
stimulates her students to study a
semester abroad. Front believes that
every single student should have the
opportunity to study abroad, without being
delayed in their study progress. After
years of putting this to this on the agenda
of the university council, the University has
adopted this into their strategic plan under
the name “mobility window”.
During the transitional phase, the time until
the ”mobility window” will get implemented,
the university should provide an
information package to all the first year
students. This package should include
information about what an exchange
contains and what is necessary for a
student to go on exchange without delay in
study progress. The information package
has to clarify which courses should be
taken in the second year in order to go
abroad in the third year without getting
delayed.
Furthermore, the university should
improve the information provision about
the requirements for the partner
universities abroad. Often, it is not clear
for students that the university they
12 ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT
applied for has certain language
requirements. Furthermore, Tilburg
University should be clear about the
language used in the courses at the
university abroad. Too often people are
getting selected for an exchange semester
in a Spanish speaking country, not
knowing that all courses are only offered in
Spanish.
IMPROVING INFORMATION
AROUND ACCOMODATION As we speak, about 1250 international
students are taking a bachelor or master
degree program at Tilburg University. Prior
to their arrival in Tilburg, Tilburg University
sends them an information package about
accommodation in Tilburg. Among them
the Verberne apartments and as of this
year TalentSquare, are offered as possible
accommodation. The international
students are not familiar about the rent
prices in Tilburg, which means they often
choose without further consult on of these
options. Because of the lack of information
they choose a too expensive room.
Especially TalentSquare is a very
expensive option for international
students, because they do not receive
housing allowance from the Dutch
government. Front wants that the
university gives a better and more
complete image of the market for rooms in
the city. The option of not using an
intermediary like “kamperpunt” is often not
included whilst this is the primary method
of finding a room for Dutch students in
Tilburg.
IMPROVE GUIDANCE TO LABOR
MARKET Tilburg University wants to be a university
that understands the society, in the
Netherlands and outside of our borders.
That means that involving international
students in the society is important. They
need to get acquainted with the Dutch
culture and labor market, so that they do
not move away from The Netherlands after
their study. Unfortunately, Tilburg
University does not provide the
international students and recent
international alumni with enough advice to
actually join the Dutch working force. Our
university has the responsibility to inform
them and provide help to enter the labor
market. This means that Front wants to
promote the Career Centre under the
international students and make them
aware of the many opportunities for a
career that are being offered by the
University and organizations in and around
the campus.
ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT 13
How is a student able to know what
happens within an university- or faculty
council? This is only possible when there
is open communication about the
decisions and the information is publicly
available. For the average student it is a
mystery what the councils are talking
about. Even when someone is willing to
search for information around the affairs of
the university, it is not known where to find
this information. Know what is expected
from you, and what you can expect:
something Fractie Front will commit
herself to!
IMPROVE STUDY ADVICE The quality of the current advice given by
the study advisors- and tutors needs
improvement, within the faculties and
university-wide. It is crucial that a student
gets good advice about for instance the
quality and the establishment of a career.
Fractie Front pleads for an adequate
study-advice and better communication
from the study advisors and tutors to the
students.
IMPROVEMENT OVERVIEW
COURSES AND WORKSHOPS Fractie Front thinks that the university
should make an effort to get students
more aware about the courses that are
offered outside of the studies. For example
job training. By having a clear
representation of all the courses and
workshops in the ‘personal study guide’ on
Blackboard, students will have an
overview of all the courses and workshops
given at the university. An additional
option is the representation of workshops
organized by student- and study
associations in the overview.
DEVELOPMENT INSTRUCTION
CLIPS BLACKBOARD, COMAP
AND LITERATURE SEARCH At the beginning of college, many students
have problems with the use of Blackboard
and COMAP. During all the years they
spent in college students use these pages
and therefore it is important they will get
familiarized with it. Therefore, Fractie
Front wants the university to take
responsibility and develop instruction clips
for Blackboard and COMAP. These clips
should show the default actions (like
register for courses and exams) in a clear
way. Next to this, Fractie Front pleads for
an instruction video with explanation about
the search for literature.
IMPROVEMENT OF WEBSITE The website of Tilburg University is many
times considered to be unclear and
confusing. Fractie Front wants the website
of Tilburg University to be clear and
simple. Therefore it should be improved.
Future students, current students and
employees must be able to find all the
information they need on the website.
14 ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT
AWARENESS EXAM
REGISTRATION Currently, a student gets a fine of €25,-
when he or she did not register for an
exam before the closing date and still
wants to participate. Fractie Front believes
that the university should take the
responsibility to develop a way to make
students more aware of the closing dates
for registration. It can be a possibility to
aware a student while registering for a
course with pop-ups.
RELEASE EXAM- AND RESPONSE
MODELS Fractie Front wants that the rules
concerning the availability of example
sheets are complied to. Teachers are
obligated to provide students with example
questions, in which the questions are a
reflection of the actual questions in the
exam.
Next to this, Fractie Front pleads that the
response models of assignments and
exams will become available for students.
Teachers should argue why they gave a
certain grade, using these models. This
gives more control with granting certain
grades and gives the opportunity for
students to learn about their mistakes.
moreover, students know their points
to improve and can use this further in their
studies.
TRANSPARENCY IN DECISION
MAKING In general, students do not know about the
decision making within the university
council and the faculty councils. With the
‘Pleekrant”, which can be found in the
toilets of the library since March, Fractie
Front reaches a lot of students already.
However, the comprehensive information
is not provided. The
papers and
minutes of the
council meetings
are only available
via a link, which
you only can get on request. Fractie Front
wants the university to take responsibility
for making the decision making on the
university transparent. The information
must be made public, so that interested
students are able to dive into the decision
making process on the university.
COMPLIANCE WITH EDUCATION
AND EXAMINATION
REGULATIONS Compliance to marking period
Fractie Front thinks it is important that
regulations are complied to, which also
counts for the Education and Examination
Regulations (EER) of all the faculties.
It happens too much that a student hands
in an assignment or makes an exam and it
takes too long to receive their feedback
and grade. The rules fort his are
determined in the EER, which are
described in the appendix.
Bigger reach of students via the
‘Pleekrant’
REALIZED
ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT 15
Feedback grades
In every EER it is determined that each
student has the possibility to inspect their
written exam. This way, students are able
to take note from the questions and
assignments in an exam and also from the
standards that are used to determine the
grade. Fractie Front has learned that
students do not know which standards
they will be tested on. It is important
students are notified that they can inspect
their exam and discuss which standards
they have or have not met. Since this is
determined in the EER, Fractie Front
wants to commit herself to make sure that
these regulations will be followed.
Knowledge database and complaint box
Many students do not know that they are
protected by the EER. If they are known
with it, they do not know what this means.
Fractie Front pleads for a knowledge
database, which contains the ‘frequently
asked questions’ about the EER. In this
way it is clear for students when they are
in their right if they think that rules are not
complied to.
Of course, it is important that something
happens with the infractions. To tackle the
problems mentioned above, Fractie Front
wants to conduct a complaint box. Every
student can report their complaints when
the rules in the EER are violated. As a
result, it should be clear that the agreed
sanctions should be followed.
16 ELECTION PROGRAMME 2014 – 2015 FRACTIE FRONT
Tilburg University has a unique compact
campus with an abundance of features of
its own, among them the forest at the west
side. The properties of this unique campus
can contribute to a University where
students feel like home. Fractie Front
wants to make sure that students are
indeed more connected with the University
and therefore want to spend more time on
the campus.
MORE HOSPITALITY
ESTABLISHMENTS Café Esplanade is the only café at the
campus, but offers not enough space for
students. During the summer, students are
too often rejected at the entrance of the
café because the lack of a big terrace.
This problem could be solved by
expanding the terrace of the Esplanade
Café. Furthermore students should be
able to stay longer at the Café in the
evening, this could be done by expending
the opening hours. Fractie Front wants to
expend the hospitality establishment, so
students are able to relax at the campus
after their lectures.
LUXURIOUS COFFEE MACHINE IN
EVERY BUILDING OF THE
UNIVERSITY In 2013 Fractie Front ensured a luxurious
coffee machine in the coffee corner of the
library. Students received this new
luxurious coffee machine positively and
therefore Front
wants to
implement
luxurious coffee
machines in every
building at the University.
EXPANDING OPENING HOURS
LIBRARY In exam periods it is of great importance
that students have
maximum access
to all study
facilities. Fractie
Front pleads for
expanded opening hours of the University
Library in the weekend from 08:00AM till
00:00MN.
EXPANDING OPNENING
HOURS AND ENHANCING
PRICE/QUALITY RATIO OF
FOOD IN THE MENSA During the weekend students have limited
options to have lunch or dinner close to
the campus. Fractie Front pleads for
opening the Mensa during the weekend.
Furthermore Fractie Front wants to
improve the quality of the food and the
prices should fit a better price/ quality
ratio.

weather. This is not yet possible at Tilburg
University. Fractie Front wants to realize
outside workplaces with power points to
give students the opportunity to study
outside.
STUDENT CAFÉ AT CAMPUS In the long run Front sees more cohesion
from students with the university when
there is a student café. This café should
be exploited by students for students. Low
consuming prices will attract more
students to the campus, and as result
there will be an increased cohesion
between students. In other cities campus
cafes are popular among students and
Fractie Front wants to introduce this
student café in Tilburg.
LOUNGE CORNERS IN SEVERAL
BUILDINGS Fractie Front has the opinion that the
atmosphere on the campus could be
improved by arranging more lounge
corners like the lounge corner in the
Academia building.
