Resident students are placed at their school of residence, if they indicate it as their top preference.
After placing residents, remaining spaces are allocated to non‐resident students, based on a random lottery selection process.
If all of the school choices are full, then the student is placed at the Middle School Of Residence (MSOR).
Resident Students

Special Funding Request Instructions
Identified Need: Site staff need a recognized process for requesting funding from centrally-‐managed accounts. Administrative staff and Fiscal Services need a process to track the requests and document the Superintendent's response.
Purpose: This form was designed to facilitate the approval and documentation of ad hoc funding commitments made by the Superintendent.
Process: 1) Site staff will complete the upper portion of this form electronically (through the "Superintendent Use Only" line) and email it to the Executive secretarial staff in the Superintendent's office: [email protected]) The Superintendent will regularly review the requests, approve or deny funding, and assign the appropriate resource and percent distribution, if needed.3) The Superintendent's staff will: a) Return denied requests to the site requestor listed in the "Contact" section; or b) Forward approved requests to Fiscal Services.4) The assigned Fiscal Analyst will ensure that budget is properly allocated and place a hard copy of the form in the resource folder as source documentation.
