The North Valley Chorale welcomes Dr. Anita Murcko, MD, FACP, as its new president. Anita practiced internal medicine for 25 years and has been a physician executive for nearly 20 years, specializing in quality improvement and health systems redesign. She now teaches and provides e-health consulting though her company, Cambiare, LLC, named for the musical term (v. to change.) Anita and her husband joined the NVC in 2011, and have “loved every minute of the music and the members.”

Anita is “honored to serve the NVC and looks forward to a bright future with our energetic board, fantastic members, amazing director and many

The North Valley Chorale (NVC) is a voluntary, non profit (501 (c)(3)) organization dedicated to the cultural, musical, and social enrichment of metropolitan Phoenix and its surrounding communities.

We serve all segments of our community by providing affordable and accessible performances of choral music from many traditions, eras, and cultures. Our repertoire ranges from classical to pop, Broadway and patriotic. Next month, NVC will proudly represent Arizona during the 2013

National Memorial Day Choral Festival at the Kennedy Center for the

Performing Arts, Washington, DC. We reach out into the community to serve and lift up those who are suffering and in need. During the holidays and throughout the year we share the gifts of music, companionship and goods with those who are needy, ill or

homeless. NVC is proud to partner with UMOM shelters, the Boys and Girls Club, the VA Medical Center, and our newest partner, the Banner Alzheimer Institute (BAI). We are proud to be known as “The choir that cares.”
