12 EHS Best Practices (Dupont) and
includes 3 subsystems:

Since its introduction, PEMEX-SSPA has achieved more than 49% reduction in lost
time incidents and 76% of PEMEX Contractors.
In 2010, we obtained the best historical performance for PEMEX in this area.
Communication strategy - all PEMEX training and reinforcement of EH&S Culture.
Integration of the Union at meetings of executive leadership for three organization
levels.
EH&S accountability at all levels, leading and lagging indicators.
Compliance with the guidelines of the department of Energy through PEMEX-SSPA
(issued on 21-Jan-2011).
In 2012 the EHS system, was audited by an independent expert. (Bureau Veritas)

The PEMEX-SSPA 2013-2018 strategy is based on four axes: System, Accountability,
Organization and Special Projects.
EH&S campaigns focused critical procedures.
Accident Containment Plan in critical work centers (53% improved performance in
2013)
Establishing a program to support task forces to strengthen the EH&S with emphasis
on the critical elements of Process safety Management (PSM).
Program audits, advisory and monitoring the implementation of the PEMEX-SSPA
System.
