• Reason: police brutality, emergency law, lack of free elections & freedom of speech, uncontrollable corruption, high unemployment, inflation & low wages.
• Result: The 18 day revolts resulted in the removal of President “Hosny Mubarak”.
• Current situation: Demonstrations happen regularly across Egypt. Demonstrations are often on Fridays.
