Government – the Inflows to the wallets

Ministry of Social Solidarity1

• MasterCard in cooperation with Ministry of Social Solidarity and Vodafone initiated a Government disbursement model for social benefits to the mobile wallets

• The Pilot focused on one program for the Women alimony, where they receive their benefits on the phones where they can cash it out from the nearest agents saving them cost and effort of traveling to the ministry outlets.

• After the success of the pilot the Ministry is planning to roll-out the service to 25K beneficiary as first phase and to 300Knext year (and this is just one program)
