CR2 Solution: BankWorld for the UnbankedCR2’s BankWorld platform enables banks to deploy a flexible and personalised self-service and agency banking solution. Banks can utilise multiple delivery channels of the BankWorld platform including Agent Portal, mobile and ATM to reach customers outside of the branch and provide them with access to convenient banking services. With BankWorld, all channels work in unison ensuring a consistent experience across your entire network.

f Agent Portal

Agents of the bank can use mobile tablets or PC or laptop computers to perform transactions on behalf of the customer using the Agent Portal web interface. BankWorld Agent Portal provides a functionally-rich agent interface that does not require high bandwidth. Banks can assign different access levels and interfaces for particular agents; for example, an agent with basic access could perform transactions such as bill presentment, bill payment for utility or school fee payments or carry out transfers on behalf of the customers. A bank could also grant higher access to agents to operate in delegation mode carrying out a wider range of functionalities including cash deposit.

f Mobile

BankWorld P2P Payments and BankWorld Money Voucher allow customers to pay bills, purchase goods, and send remittances and third party transfers using their mobile phones. Customers can withdraw cash by sending a P2P payment to the agent and similarly deposit cash by receiving a P2P payment from the agent. Customers can purchase Money Voucher, an electronic cheque, on any of the BankWorld channels and redeem it at an agent or on the bank’s ATMs or send it to someone else who can it redeem the voucher on the bank’s network.

ATM

Customers and non-customers can avail of a wide range of remittance services and cardless transactions at the ATM such as purchasing and redeeming Money Voucher, bill payment, cardless cash deposit and cardless cash withdrawal. Customers can obtain a printed receipt from the ATM providing them with a trusted record of their activities.

BankWorld for the Unbanked: how it worksCustomers visit an agent in their area to carry out their banking activities. The agent can perform transactions using the Agent Portal or mobile money transfers. Customers can also purchase and redeem Money Vouchers and perform cardless transactions on the bank’s ATM network.
