  • 1. ICT Infrastructure and Network Deployment of WiFi facility in hostels and

    Strengthen the existing WiFi facility in the Academic Complexes, deployment of a largest WiFi Project of 2000 Nos Access Points among all the institutes/universities of India and in Asia. Expansion of Wifi in the remaining arear of the campus is awaited for approvals of MHRD/UGC.

    Strengthening and Expansion of JNU Campus Network (Wired and Wi-Fi) in all Academic Complexes, Guesthouses, hostels and offices of the university across 1019 Acre Area of the Campus with 90+ Network Distribution Points.

    Implemented JNU Email services with SSO for Faculty, Students and Staff.

    Implemented Access Control and Biometric attendance based system

    Implemented VPN , SMS gateway system and CCTV Camera at the critical entry points

    Implemented Library Management Software and e-resources access to JNU community and university affiliated institutes.Communication and Information Services of JNU
