Performance Assessment
Periodic off-line activity that may be performed by a provider
State, a user State, or delegated entity, aiming to verify that the signal in space (SIS) conforms to the relevant Annex 10 standards.
This activity can be done for the core constellation, and/or, the core constellation combined with an augmentation system for
different operational applications (such as en-route, terminal, and approach operations).

detected by Kos and Larnaka GNOME sentinels
• confirmed by Pilots reports about GPS loss in Nicosia FIR during some days of March and April 2018….

Thanks to BLUEGNSS.....
• GNSS monitoring network is “up&running” in the BLUEMED FAB.
• Reports are available (to registered users) on BLUEMED Website
• GNSS Italian report was used as Performance Assessment reference by Italian CAA (ENAC) to approve PBN procedures GPS based without any additional mitigation.
• GNOME dedicated stations are able to monitor also the spectrum in order to detect interference events.
• Anomaly investigation support also at National level

Opportunities for system evolution
• Software upgrade of GNOME sentinels application to perform: • Real time monitoring
• Fast playback investigation tool
• Hardware upgrade to execute Direction finding of interference source (with triangulation capability with more sentinels)
• Addition of one or more sentinels to create a National network completely integrated within BLUEGNSS network
