OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAMTraditionally majority of project decisions heavily favored cost andschedule. Alarming rate of project failure resulted in realization ofrequirement for risk management competency for project managers and
their respective team members. Risk management involves minimizingthe consequences of adverse events as well as maximizingthe result of positive events. This course attempts to identify the
requirements for project risk management. This leads to the
development of a risk management roadmap, which will underpinthe design and implementation of an intelligent risk mapping system. The
outcome from this course will facilitate course participants to effectivelymanage project risk and contribute towards successful projectmanagement in their respective organization.

Prebagaran is aCertified Project Management Professional and Risk managementProfessional by Project Management Institute (USA). He is also a CertifiedTrainer by International Board of Certified Trainers (USA). He is an AdvancedTQM facilitator, ISO 9001:2000 QMS Lead Auditor and competent trainer forISO 14000.
Dr. J. Prebagaran has conducted various leadership and managementdevelopment training programs for government, multinational organizationsand international clients.
