Academic achievements can not be built overnight

Foreign language skills, especially English

For Japanese universities, usually we apply for the scholarshnot the university (in other countries might be different).

First year will be pre-university courses,i.e., language and basciences according to the choice of field of study. In the meastudents will have to apply for admission to university.

Some university will require students to sit for entrance exam whiothers rely on the result of the pre-university courses results.
