This provides the platform for children to reach that extraordinary potential they have as learners, to feel confident in themselves and to experience the success we so very much strive for them as learners. Research is very clear that these are the aspects of a child’s life that provides for success not only during their school years but also later in life. Please know that my door is always open to you. I sincerely welcome and value your positive and constructive knowledge, insights and input into school life. Administration of Prescribed Medications and Health Care Procedures

Parents of children who require prescribed medi-cation to be administered at school must com-plete a written request which is available from the office. Students must not carry medications unless there is a written agreement between the school and the student’s parents that this a planned part of the student’s health care support. Such as stu-dents suffering from asthma may have their med-ication on their person and, as part of their health care plan, need to be educated in the use of that medication.

Non Prescribed Medications Schools do not administer medication which has not been prescribed by a medical practitioner for an individual student for a specific condition. Par-ents are asked to please not send Panadol/Cold & Flu medications that have not been issued to students via a prescription from a doctor.
