January 22 st 2015 Client Evaluation of Environmental BioTechnologies, Inc.’s Geo Microbial MET Survey Completed in Colombia for Ecopetrol Survey of Surface Geoquemistry and Microbiological analysis in Guajira Basin, Colombia March, 2014 In the framework of exploration of Guajira basin in north of Colombia, Ecopetrol picked up 400 soils samples in a frontier onshore area, these samples were analized using Head Space Gas (HSG) and MET techniques. The work was developed by EBT Inc’s. The results let us to take decisions about interesting areas for oil and gas exploration, these anomalies highlight hydrocarbon presence in surface, therefore it is possible that a petroleum system is working at the area. In our concept, we recommended the technique because is not expensive and you can have reliable data in a short time.
