WHO donated Ebola, cholera and other

disease preparedness items, in addition to

NTD medicines costing TZS

5,713,239,800.09 (US$2,341,749.09) to

Mainland Tanzania.

WHO also donated similar items to

Zanzibar, costing TZS. 2,655,367,800 (USD

1,164,635). Total cost items donated was

TZS.$8,368,607,600.00 (US$3,506,384.00).

25 patients are currently hospitalized

18 Survivors discharged and re-integrated into

their communities

15 Health care workers have been affected

2,445 contacts are under follow-up

173 experts deployed to DRC

111 confirmed and probable EVD cases, including 75 deaths reported
