Jesus: It is written in the Hebrew Scriptures, People need more than bread to live.Should I get the large cheesesteak or the small one, with extra meat? Well, if a person has a Philly cheesesteak, it only makes sense to have fries, a large drink and a Tastykake for dessert. Comfort food reaches all five senses and at times a temporary satisfaction to the hole in the soul. Yield not to temptation, for yielding is sin Each victory will help you or some others to win Fight manfully onward, dark passions subdue Look ever to Jesus and He'll carry you through During Lent, the Noreaster of temptation seems stronger and the solace we fine in food (or whatever are weak- ness may me) appears more enticing. Yet, we need more than cheesesteaks and Tastykake to live. The tempta- tion is the symptom, the lack of spiritual discipline is the illness and faith, prayer and grace are my cure. Ask the Savior to help you To comfort, strengthen and heal you Oh, He is willing to aid you Jesus will carry you through Dear God, we are asking for comfort, strength and healing through your Son, Jesus Christ. We humbly pray to submit to your will, for we trust in your presence and yield not to temptation. For as faith grows, so does our adoration in you, oh, Lord. May our acts of love - bring you glory. Your light oh, Lord – shines in each of us and guides not only ourselves but others to your safe harbor from the Noreasters of their lives.
