AKC TESTS Offered The JC TEST is open to all hounds of an eligible breed. A hound running alone shall receive a certification from a judge on one date and a second certification from a different judge at a later date, stating that the hound completed at least a 600 yard course with a minimum of four turns. The hound must complete the course with enthusiasm and without interruption.

QC TEST a hound at least 12 months of age (qualifying Hound) running with another hound of the same breed-- or another breed with the same running style---(testing hound)shall receive certification from a licensed judge. The hound must complete the course with enthusiasm and without interruption,sufficiently course the lure and not courser the testing hound. The judge will certify that the qualifying hound ran cleanly and did not appear to present a hazard to the Testing hound at any point in the qualifying course. This certificate is required to enter a dog in the open stake. The handler presenting the qualifying hound shall be responsible for providing the testing hound for the qualifying course. Upon successful completion of the test the judges

completes a certificate. and awards it to the handler. This certificate must be submitted

to the host club with the hounds first entry into Open Stake this certificate must be submitted with the trial records.It is additionally recommended the every qualifying hound be practiced with other hounds before entering competition. AKC TRIAL STAKES SINGLE STAKES Open to all hounds of an eligible breed one year or older. Dogs with dq's and dog with breed disqualifications are also eligible. Hounds will run alone in a mixed stake. No BOB will be awarded. OPEN: Open to all hounds of an eligible breed that have attained at least one of the following: AKC Junior Courser Title, CKC Field Champion Title, ASFA FCh Title. Championship points may be awarded from this stake. OPEN VETERAN: Open to all hounds, which are eligible to enter either Open or Special Stake, and are of Veteran age as determined by their Parent Breed Club. Championship or LCX points may be awarded from this stake. SPECIAL: Open to all hounds that are eligible to enter the Open stake and have earned

their AKC Field Championship titles. LCX points may be awarded from this stake.

Hounds under disqualification from AKC, ASFA, or CKC Field Trials may NOT be

entered.

All Hounds entering Open or Veteran Stakes for the first time MUST include a completed AKC Certification Form and a copy of the hound’s registration certificate; (certification waived for Single Stake entries only).

Conditions of Entry: All entries must be one year or older on the day of the trial ● Stakes will be split into flights by public random draw if the entry in any regular stake is 20 or more ● Bitches in season, lame hounds and hounds with breed disqualifications will be excused at roll call. ● Spayed, neutered, monorchid or cryptorchid hounds without breed disqualifications may be entered; hounds with breed disqualifications are not eligible to enter except in the Single Stake ● Hounds not present at the time of roll call will be scratched ● All hounds will run twice, in trios if possible or braces (except in the Single Stake), unless excused, dismissed or disqualified. Equipment: Type of lure machine: battery-powered continuous-loop system. ● Type of lures: highly-visible white plastic strips ● Back-up equipment will be available.

OTHER INFORMATION RV and Tent Camping allowed. NO HOOK-UPS

NO Concessions at the field. However, there are several fast food chains within 1 mile.

ALL OW NERS MUST KEEP THEIR HOUND UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES AND MUST CLEAN UP AFTER THEM. THERE W ILL BE A $5 FINE ASSESSED FOR ANY LOOSE HOUND ON THE FIELD NOT TAKING PART IN A COURSE IN PROGRESS.

THERE WILL BE A $15 FINE ASSESSED FOR ANY OWNER WHO DOES NOT CLEAN UP AFTER HIS OR/ HER HOUND. Deposit poop bags in trash only not in or near port o pot or against trees!!

Anyone who fails to comply with the minimum information required will be charged day of trial entry fees.

Exhibitors MUST bring completed and signed entry forms the day of trial if they cannot scan same in advance, but under no circumstance will we accept pre-entries without the minimum entry information listed above.

*GANG adds $1.00 to each PayPal entry to cover PayPal fees.
