Easter Egg Detective

A basket was seized by my two eager hunters as they zipped out the door,I grabbed an orange and a cup of coffee—my energy needed restored.

The kids were loud and excited for the Easter egg hunt in town.I understood their fervor but wished they would tone it down.

When we got to the park, there were kids with baskets all around.We saw 3 rabbits by a tree, but they did not make a sound.

Luckily, I was prepared and had 3 carrots in my bag.We fed the critters and then dashed to the hunt as they waved the starting flag.

The hunt went quickly, and the kids had great success,After I got my second wind, I enjoyed the day too, I must confess.

The kids found 8 eggs, 6 gumdrops, 2 packs of Skittles, and 4 Kit Kat bars,Plus 3 rolls of Mentos, 4 Hershey’s Milk Chocolates, and jelly beans in a jar.

They also won gag gifts and prizes, including 3 feathers off the ground.They brought home 3 kites, 2 books, an action figure Jesus that glides and spins around,

A box of bacon and cheese flavored crickets, a duck, and a frog.The Doan’s Pills will be handy if those crickets are eaten and someone gets sick as a dog.
