Supporting Youth ProgramsOver 500 New Haven K-12 students visit New Haven Reads each week for free tutoring by community volunteers, many of whom are Yale University students and staff.
New Haven Reads also operates a free bookstore for the community and gives away over 100,000 books every year. Yale University is a major sponsor of the program, providing free space at 45 Bristol Street.
