ARF's New Home!ARF has rescued more than 4,800 dogs and 2,200 cats since 1995, and the needs are growing. There has also been a dramatic increase in the number of animals that require advanced medical or long-term care. A permanent ARF facility will provide the capacity to rescue and re-home up to 50 percent more dogs and cats annually. To date, ARF has raised $540,000 and this golf tournament is one of Pad For Paws’ largest funding sources. This year ARF will be moving into a new, permanent facility that will include quarantine areas for dogs and cats, short-term housing for emergency rescues, an outdoor exercise area, in-house grooming, space for canine training programs and a functional space for volunteer and community education.

Rotary Club of Calgary Heritage ParkThe Rotary Club of Calgary Heritage Park raises funds to support humanitarian programs, both locally and around the world. In Calgary, we provide funding for numerous programs including: Veteran’s Food Bank, children’s literacy and funding for homeless families. Internationally, our club supports Rotary International’s efforts, which include a program to eradicate polio, fresh water systems, scholarship programs for under privileged children in Mexico and the Shelter Box program that provides emergency shelter for disaster victims.
