Slots Jots

September is here and the excitement is rampant! Hopefully you’re as enthused as we are

about the expanded gaming floor, as well as the new Hotel, Restaurant, Lounge, and gift shop.

I promised last month that I would feature some of the new

themes that will be playable in the new sections, so without further ado,

please read on for details!

Guests can zap their way to big wins with Everi’s Lightning Zap game

themes: Electric Rush, Power Burst, and Super Charge. Located in the

expanded gaming floor at 6-2, this new family of games may just be the

most unique concept we have on our floor… There are no lines or reels

whatsoever. Instead, the screen shows all the prizes eligible, at all times.

Designed to be simple, guests just have to hit the play button and rather

than spin, as traditional slots play, this one “zap”s the credit amounts on the screen to award prizes.

Extremely fast-betting, with a player-selectable denomination, and a max bet of 200 credits, the game

features the Chain Zap and Super Zap awards: Chain Zap zaps one prize that then zaps up to 9 additional

credit prizes; and Super Zap randomly multiplies all the prizes from 2x to 7x, and of those, 3 to 10 of them

can be zapped and awarded to the player. It’s magnetic, eye-catching, space-aged, and will (hopefully) attract

guests from across the floor.

Also sure to attract guests from across the floor is Clinko™: Winning

Wall™! Manufactured by Incredible Technologies, and located at 6-3,

guests can step right up and try their luck on the game show-themed

Clinko™: Winning Wall™ slot game! IT Gaming’s newest innovation

combines the luck of a slot machine with the fun of a pachinko game.

The Clinko™ feature occurs randomly when the

Winning Wall host appears to showcase the

Clinko™ ball feature! The ball bounces from peg

to peg - each displaying different awards - as it

falls from the top of the Infinity V55®’s huge

screen all the way down to the 30-line reel set.

Whichever feature the ball bumps is awarded! Players can win added wilds, symbol

upgrades, or a line win multiplier!

Free spins are awarded when two free spins scatters land on the reels. During the

free spin event, TWO Clinko balls are released before every spin, meaning two added

awards each spin! Multipliers, symbol upgrades, and added wilds pegs are still

available to win with the exciting addition of progressive pegs on the Clinko board!

Accumulate one “MINOR” peg to win the minor progressive, two “MAJOR” pegs to win

the major progressive, or three “GRAND” pegs to win the grand progressive. The

Clinko™ feature is a frequent and exciting bonus, sure to attract an audience to cheer

players on!

The final new games featured this month are Aruze’s Wheel of Prosperity game series at 8-1. Its two

inaugural themes Wheel of Prosperity Dragon and Wheel of Prosperity Phoenix are both centered around a

giant central bonus wheel that figures in two separate bonus events, as well as the progressive jackpot

round, with a top prize resetting at $10,000.

The base game is a five-reel, 243-ways-to-win penny video slot. During any bought game, three wheel

symbols on the middle reels trigger the Bonus Wheel. The wheel contains multipliers of 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, 7X,

Slots Jots continued

8X, 10X and 18X; and a “Free Games” space. If the spins land on a multiplier, any win from the

triggering spin is multiplied by that number. The Free Games space triggers a second “Free

Games Wheel.” The Wheel spins to award 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20 or 25 free games. During the

free games, if three wheel symbols appear on the middle reels, the Free Games Wheel is

retriggered for additional spins.

Randomly, when one or more wheel symbols appear on the second, third and fourth reels, a

third wheel, the Jackpot Wheel, is triggered. The wheel spins to award the Mini jackpot ($10

reset), the Minor ($25), Major ($800) or Grand ($10,000-plus)

prize.

Besides these new machines, there are some games and

machine moves of note that I think you may be interested in…

Primarily, Blackjack at 3-25 and 3-26 will be down for

approximately 2 weeks for conversion starting the 9th of this

month. We will be doing away with Interblock Blackjack, and instead

installing Table Master Fusion Blackjack by Bally, which is owned by Scientific

Games.

Also of note, some guests have asked about some of the classic, throwback

themes. Well, we have them! New and improved, but with the same classic game play, are White Orchid

and Stinking Rich at 6-6; Blazing 7s Scatter, Diamond Line Blazing 7s, and In

the Money, all at 8-14.

And finally, if guests ask you where the Dragon Spin from 2-6 disappeared

to, you can tell them that it’s located in the new section, at 8-16.

Before I close, I hope you all have a safe, healthy, and happy Labor Day.

Thank you for all you do, every day. None of this would be possible without all

of you.

Until next time…

Just a quick note to share my sincere appreciation to the entire staff for putting in the

extra efforts each day to make our “soft opening” date a reality!

I know there have been many sacrifices made by several people who have

contributed to the success of our operation and I would be at a loss if I were to try and

name everyone.

My thanks to everyone, you should be proud of your accomplishment!

I look forward to our “official Grand Opening” and Ribbon Cutting on Friday,

September 6th.

We would like to give a friendly reminder that with

the opening of the expansion comes the addition of

numerous new employees. The hotel, restaurant,

and lounge staff will all be utilizing the existing 2 re-

cyclers that are currently located near the MB. We

would appreciate it if everyone continued to show

the same positivity and patience they have had with

learning the recyclers with all the new employees in

the same situation. Here are a few helpful hints to

streamline the process and hopefully avoid conges-

tion in the recycler room:

1. After the recycler dispenses all funds needed,

take all loose cash and coin tray to the side table

to put into your pouch/bag.

2. Remember to replace the coin tray for the next

person.

3. Remember to grab your receipt slips before walk-

ing away from the recycler. This will prevent for-

getting them altogether or from someone else

mistaking them for their own.

4. You do not NEED to use the same recycler

through your entire shift. It is only a suggestion

to help keep the funds inside both at a similar

level and to help replenish the cash levels.

5. Slots may open their shift in CCT at any point dur-

ing their day (with the exceptions of roll shift and

when the MB is closed for shift change).

6. Slots may also use the jackpot booths to open

their shifts in CCT.

7. Lastly, we all like to socialize, but to help avoid

congestion and decrease the noise level please

wait to do so until the time and place are appro-

priate.

Thank you!!!

Alex has been with our department for almost

2 years now and continues to show growth and

interest within his job position. He always

comes into work with a positive attitude and

easily gets along with everyone he works with.

With the new addition of the recyclers to our

department, Alex adapted with ease to keeping

them full and never hesitates to ask questions

about any upcoming changes. Alex is great

about keeping on top of his daily tasks and his

overall hard work doesn’t go unnoticed by man-

agement or his co-workers. Keep up the excel-

lent work Alex!!!

On Monday, August 19th Saganing Eagles Land-

ing Casino officially added “and Hotel” to its

name. The new gaming floor was opened to the

public. Guests were lined up along the walkway

anxiously waiting for noon to arrive. The gate was

opened to all guests at that time to allow people

to finally experience the promised addition of 315

new state of the art slot machines. As the guests

flowed in you could see they were captivated by

all the new bells and whistles that the machines were giving off.

In what we call a “soft” opening, a select group of VIP guests

were invited to try out the hotel and its amenities before we

opened fully to the public on September 6th. Each day, 75-80

rooms were rented out to any of the guests that received a post-

card. The response was so great that the all the rooms were

completely booked up in no time and most people were not able

to get a room. The hotel officially opens all rooms on Septem-

ber 6th and it is currently booked full until the end of the month.

The response from guests has been very positive and the hotel is

a complete success.

The Landing restaurant has also been open but only to the

guests that were staying at the hotel. After a couple of days it

was decided to open that invitation to all the people that re-

ceived VIP postcards. They have been open for breakfast, lunch

and dinner. This is the first full service restaurant that we have

had and the patrons have been very helpful giving feedback.

With the soft opening we are working on receiving comments

from guests, positive and negative, and using that information

to improve and to make their dining experience great. The goal

is to make The Landing the restaurant that people want to come

to with their families and friends, not just to visit because it’s in

the casino and it’s their only option.

The Creekside Lounge has been open to the public with a limited

menu. The bar has machines all around it and it keeps the bar-

tenders hopping since it is always filled. The lounge itself has

had live entertainment this past weekend which the guests told

us they enjoyed and were happy that we finally had it back. If

there is no band the guests can snack on appetizers with drink

specials made up by our staff while they enjoy several large

screen televisions located around the bar and lounge.

Overall the soft opening has been a success and helping us pre-

pare for the Grand Opening on September 6th. Everyone did an

excellent job dealing with the high patron levels, new areas, and

new equipment and systems that we had to work the bugs out

of. Thank you to everyone that has helped bring Saganing to this

point of success.

On September 6th there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony and

SELCH will be fully open to the public.

We couldn’t have made this happen without all of the awesome

employees that we have working here. We still have spots open

and are hiring so if you have anyone that is looking for employment please refer them to HR.

Gaming News From Elsewhere

Greece-- Hard Rock International, one of

three remaining contenders to put a casi-

no at the old Hellenikon International

Airport near Athens, is willing to pony up

$1.1 billion to move forward on its effort

to put a gaming property near the Greek

capital.

Hard Rock International chairman and

Seminole Gaming CEO Jim Allen con-

firmed his company’s offer at a media

event in Athens earlier today. Allen’s

remarks were made in advance of the

Greek government’s Sept. 30 deadline

for rendering a decision on the winning

bidder for the gaming project.

In August, it was revealed the Hellenikon

Airport casino venture has three bidders

– Hard Rock International, Genting Ma-

laysia, and Mohegan Gaming and Enter-

tainment. Amid a spate of delays and

bureaucratic snafus, Caesars Entertain-

ment previously dropped out of the run-

ning for the Athens endeavor. While

Genting may be back in the fray, local

media reports suggest Hard Rock and

Mohegan Gaming are the front runners

for the Greece casino.

Mohegan Gaming is said to be partnering

with a Greek conglomerate known as

GEK Terna to be part of the Hellenikon

Airport refurbishment, which could even-

tually reach a price tag of $9 billion.

Ohio-- Ohio’s casino regulator approved

this week the proposed sale of JACK Cin-

cinnati Casino to real estate investment

trust VICI Properties, local news out-

let Cincinnati CityBeats reported.

Members of the Ohio Casino Control Com-

mission voted to issue a three-year license

to VICI, allowing the company to purchase

the downtown Cincinnati casino for $558

million in cash.

It was in April when news first emerged

that VICI and gaming and hospitality giant

Hard Rock International have agreed to

purchase the property from its current

owner, Detroit-based casino operator

JACK Entertainment, in a $745 million

deal.

As mentioned above, VICI, the REIT that

spun off from Caesars Entertainment

Corp. in 2017, will pay $558 million in

cash for a 100% of the interest of an enti-

ty of the Cincinnati casino complex that

owns the land and its real estate. Hard

Rock will pay another $187 million for the

operating assets of the gambling venue.

VICI and Hard Rock will then enter into a

long-term leasing agreement that will

initially see Hard Rock pay $42.75 million

a year to lease the property for an initial

15-year term with the option for four five-

year extensions.

JACK Cincinnati opened doors in 2013 and

operated as Horseshoe Cincinnati until

2016 when its owner rebranded as JACK

Entertainment and moved to change the

property’s name to JACK Cincinnati Casino.

The casino complex features a 100,000-

square-foot gaming floor with 1,800 slot

machines and 100 table games, 33,000

square feet of meeting space and six dining

outlets.

JACK Cincinnati opened doors with around

1,700 employees, but currently employs

about 1,000 people. It recorded average

monthly revenue of about $17 million last

year.

VICI and Hard Rock said earlier this year

that they expect to finalize the purchase of

the downtown Cincinnati casino in late

2019. As Hard Rock will be running the

casino, it will, too, need to be licensed by

the Casino Control Commission. The regula-

tor could vote on Hard Rock’s bid to take

over as the operator of the gambling venue

as soon as its next meeting.

Once the deal closes, the property will be

rebranded as Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati.

Hard Rock revealed that it would add new

facilities to the casino’s existing offering,

but is yet to provide more details about

what these new additions would include.

Bev Wallace – Players Club Driver

Many motorcycle riders want to know where they park. Is it possible for Bike Area in

part of the area where grass and trees will be?

We are evaluating possible areas to see if there are any areas that can be

designated for motorcycles. Currently motorcycles are to park in the same

parking spaces any other vehicles park.

Can we get reflective # numbers in the RV Park? For E Z to see at night shuttle pickups / drop offs.

This is a good idea, we are working at better site markers not only for shuttle drivers but also for

campers. Hopefully next year we will be able to make those improvements.

Also there are no numbers on the handicapped campsites.

Numbers are here they just need to be installed. Thank you for the reminder!
