e4TN is TN DOE’s grant funded online learning initiative

21 full credit classes 18 half credit classes 16 credit recovery classes Physics and Art History coming in Fall 2010 Classes meet TN and national technology

and content standards e4TN’s online learning program is

implemented in districts all over Tennessee and taught by Tennessee teachers

COMPLIANCE WITH NCLB AND ARRA The LEA assures that all program requirements

of Enhancing Education Through Technology: No Child Left Behind Title II Part D and of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) (Title II Part D), shall be met.

The LEA assures its understanding that the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) (Title II Part D) reimbursement grant funds shall only be used for eligible reimbursable expenditures.

The LEA assures that any and all equipment and software purchased and salaries or stipends provided will supplement, not supplant, the level of services that would have been provided in the absence of monies received from this grant.

04/30/10). 3.  List the year to date expenditures in the column next to budget

amount, account number, and  description. Total amount already requested for reimbursement before this request. Do not include the amount of your current request in this column.

BUDGET AMENDMENT PROCEDURES

When an LEA wishes to modify any finally approved budget, resulting in a greater than ten percent increase or

decrease in a budget category, whether the change is single or cumulative,

The LEA federal programs contact person shall submit an electronic version, an original paper copy, and 2 paper copies of the budget amendment to his/her

assigned NCLB consultant. The following items must be included as a part of this

budget amendment when submitted: a completed NCLB Budget Amendment Form ED-5341 for

each affected title, an original cover letter from the Director of Schools, and a revised budget for the affected title(s).
