And lastly 4% or 5 of them answered that “Financial Problem” is the common cause of their depression. For Female students we can say that the common causes of their depression are Academics. Out of 39 male respondents. 28% or 24 of them said that Academics are the common cause of their depression. 26% or 22 of them said that Family are the common cause of their depression. 16% or 14 of them said that Peer Pressure is the common cause of their depression. 20% or 17 of them said that Relationship/Lovelife is the common cause of their depression. And lastly 10% or 9 of them answered that Financial Problem is the common cause of their depression. For Male students we can say that the common causes of their depression are Academics.Generalization:From the gathered data presented. Both Male and Female Teenagers ages form 13 to 19 years old from Far Eastern University believed that the common cause of their depression is through academics. I can say that it may be a fact because college life is very difficult and one must be more responsible and student should know what path they will go.Student life is difficult to handle there are a lot of challenges that they will face from the day they entered to a University. Those depressions that they are encountering are just a challenge for them to be wiser and learn their mistake and are it to avoid this kind of depression.
