The Whole Pie
How easy it is to miss the point of living. Itis too easy to become an algebra pie with [oneslice for each part work, family, school, rec-reation and] only one slice for God. [But]God is the whole pie!
Perhaps Gods presence among us is brighterand more extravagant than we have imagined. Perhaps the veryidea of life is to experience and discover God in it. Maybe we aremeant to journey not only toward God or even for God, but withGod.Sue Monk Kidd, Gods Joyful Surprise

WLBC Praying for...DEAF PEOPLES. Among the Deaf peoples, the Good News is
reaching into new places and people are meeting the Son! In Mexico, new leaders are
empowered to learn the Word in their heart language; in Europe, the Word is being
translated into three languages; in East Asia, nationals are fulilling the Great Commis-
sion; in South Asia, Muslims are asking about the Son; in Southeast Asia, students are starting
new groups; and in North Africa, 14 people were baptized! Praise God for what He is doing!

Kids on Marriage
1. How does a person decide whom to marry?
No person really decides before they grow up whotheyre going to marry. God decides it all waybefore, and you got to find out later who yourestuck with. (Kirsten, age 10)
2. How can a stranger tell if two people are mar-ried?
Married people usually look happy to talk to otherpeople. (Eddie, age 6)
You might have to guess based on whether theyseem to be yelling at the samekids.(Derrick, age 8)
3. What do you think your mom and dad have incommon?
Both dont want no more kids. (Lori, age 8)
4. Is it better to be single or married?
Its better for girls to be single but not for boys.Boys need somebody to clean up afterthem! (Anita, age 9)
Single is better ... for the simple reason that Iwouldnt want to change no diapers .... Of course, ifI did get married, Id figure something out. Id justphone my mother and have her come over for somecoffee and diaper-changing. (Kirsten, age 10)
5. What would you suggest to make a marriagework?
Tell your wife that she looks pretty even if she lookslike a truck! (Ricky, age 7)
