and interaction to help us customize our missions focus based on

who we are as a local body of believers.

We will begin at 8:00 am, and should finish around 1:00 pm.

(The Mens Prayer Breakfast has been canceled for March.) A

healthy breakfast and snacks will be furnished. Please begin

    praying about this work-

The Knight Family is no longer on the foreign mission field. They are home in Lynchburg.

Many times we are asked, Who is

    my deacon?

To help you, we will list the Deacon of

the Week and his list of families in the

    WLBC Bulletin ENewsletter. There will

be a complete list posted on the bulletin

board near the church office. This

complete list is alphabetical by your last

name. We hope this will help you know

who your deacon is for the year. If you

have any questions, please feel free to

    contact the church office.

Grandpas drug problemMy generation just might have been lucky. I had a drug problem when I

was young, but I turned out all right anyway.

I was drug to church. I was drug to family reunions.

I was drug out of bed in the early morning. I was drug by the ears when I was disrespectful.

I was also drug to the woodshed when I disobeyed my parents.

Those drugs still run through my veins and they affect my behavior today.

    Bible Quiz

In 2 Peter 1:16-18, the apostle Peter writes

about being on a mountain with Jesus when

    something unusual happened. Christ, Peter

says, received honor and glory from God the

Father. Peter, James and John were all eye-

    witnesses of his majesty.

To what event was Peter referring?

    A. Jesus baptism

    B. Jesus transfiguration

    C. Jesus crucifixion

    D. Jesus resurrection

(The answer can be found in Mark 9:1-10.)
