Light Combat airCraft (LCa)

LCA Tejas was inducted into Air Force in the presence

of the Raksha Mantri Shri Manohar Parrikar.

The LCA programme witnessed another milestone

when Tejas trainer PV6, the two seater version of

Tejas LCA for Air Force, took its rst it. PV6 also

has the capability to deliver all ‘air-to-air’ and ‘air-to-

ground’ weapons.

In another landmark event, LCA (Navy) Prototype 1

(NP1), te rst indienosly desined and developed

combat aircra desined to operate from te decks of

aircra carriers, took-o majescally from a Ski-Jmp

facility.

A very severe cyclonic storm ‘Hudud’ swept
