RHS LOGISTICS are proud to announce the completion of phase one of their new distribution centre in DUBAI LOGISTICS CITY (Dubai World Central).

The newest addition to the RHS Logistics portfolio, representing phase one of a four phase development covering 100,000 square meters, is a fully air conditioned, 12,500 square meter built up facility set on a 25,000 square meter footprint, which can hold 31,000 pallets in a Very Narrow Aisle configuration.

The facility has a top beam set at 17 meters which allows an impressive maximum internal useable height of 19 meters.

The useable height is the highest Very Narrow Aisle configuration in the region and has allowed RHS Logistics to accommodate this exceptional volume of pallets within the built up area.

To do this, RHS Logistics invested in ground breaking narrow aisle trucks developed by Crown and supplied and serviced by Genavco with whom RHS Logistics have maintained a long term relationship.

Dubai Logistics City is the logistics centre of Dubai World Central connected via a dedicated logistics corridor. Jebel Ali Port, the Jebel Ali Free Zone and Dubai World Central form a single custom-bonded Free Zone environment spanning an area of approximately 200 square kilometers.

A multimodal logistics platform, DWC has direct access to the UAE’s main trans-emirates highways, the future Etihad Rail network, Al Maktoum International Airport and Jebel Ali Port, providing unmatched speed, connectivity and flexibility

The logistics DC infrastructure is well supported and managed by sophisticated Information Systems capable of supporting origin to destination supply chain process management. The systems follow a pre-determined upgrade path to meet with the latest developments in the supply chain Information Technology. The IS focus is robust and flexible to accommodate the individual supply chain requirements from International customers. RHS adopt a Project Management approach to analyse the individual requirements that often occur in a multi user logistics environment and endeavor to deliver sustainable and cost effective systems solutions that cut across the diverse industry segments we service.
