Effects of Global Warming

Higher temperatures can destroy the habitats of animals.

Global warming also causes stronger storms.

Other Countries:  France

75 percent of France's energy is nuclear.

Cap and Trade

Companies that stay under the cap can sell their credits to other companies that need them

Benefits of Cap and Trade

Cap and Trade can be cheaper than other ways of reducing emissions.

Global Warming:  Our fault?

In a large part, global warming is the fault of the US.  Our country emits the most greenhouse gases while making up less than 5 percent of the world's population.

We have to do something about it...

How we treat our planet matters because we don't have a second chance with it.  We can't just sit around and do nothing.
