Heart Healthy Salad DRESSING INGREDIENTS STEP 1 STEP 2 3 Tbsp. *White Balsamic Vinegar 2 Tbsp. EVOO 2 tsp. Dijon Mustard Juice of half a Lemon 1 1⁄2 tsp. Lemon & Garlic Pepper Seasoning (*OR pinch EACH Kosher Salt + Black Pepper + pinch Lemon Zest) 1 packet of Splenda or Truvia or Stevia *not a huge deal if you want to use Black Balsamic. White tastes less acidic. SALAD INGREDIENTS 4 cups Any Leuce (EXCEPT Iceberg) 1/3 cup of any FIVE of the following vegetable ideas: Bell Peppers, Toma- toes, Cucumbers, Carrots, Jicama, Mushrooms Celery, Onions, Green Beans, Peas, Beats, Radishes, Sprouts of any kind 2 Tbsp. Roasted/Salted *Pumpkin Seeds (*AKA: “Pepitas“) 2 Tbsp. Roasted/Salted Sunflower Seeds For the dressing; either place first 4 ingredients into a small bowl and whisk, or into a Salad Dressing Shaker- Maker bole and shake to combine. Season with either Seasoning opon. Add all salad ingredients into a large salad bowl. Add dressing and toss. Serve immediately.
