Step-by-step Instructions

Start by preparing the various beads and crystals that will be attached to the safety pin. Insert the head pins and make a loop using the round nose pliers as shown. Trim the excess wire.

Attach the pendants to the safety pin using the 6 mm jump rings.

Now you’re ready to make the Cabochon. Carefully cut around the image you‘ve printed out.

Place it in the Cabochon setting.

Attach a jump ring to the 16mm pendant (6106) and thread it onto a piece of wire. Then thread 6 of the Dreamy Rose Crystal Pearls (5810) each side of the pendant.

Step-by-step Instructions

Cut the gold chain in half using the side cutter. Loop onto the nylon thread, with one half of the chain on each side.

Thread 3 more pearls onto the nylon wire. Secure by threading through the adjoining pearl and closing with a double knot. This creates the ring of pearls as shown.

Insert the Cabochon into the ring of pearls and attach carefully, threading through the pearls and through the holes in the back of the Cabochon setting.

Secure with a knot.

Take a piece of nylon wire and thread the 24 Beads (5000) onto it. Tie a double knot to make a ring and thread the ends of the wire back through some of the beads.

Hold the ends of the wire above the knot with tweezers and carefully insert them into a lighter flame. This will melt the ends and make everything secure.

Attach the ring of beads to the ring of pearls, threading through back and forward with the wire.

Once the 2 rings are securely attached, slip the ends of the wire into a crimping bead and flatten it with the flat -nose pliers.

Apply glue to the back of the Cabochon.

Slip the back plate into place, pressing firmly. Leave to dry.

Join the ends of the chain using a 4mm jump ring.

Attach it to the safety pin using another 4mm jump ring.
