This is the story of Toby, the most creative 11-year-old boy and inventor you can think of. One day, the little robot Robby enters his life. He‘s been separated from his robot parents when his spaceship crashed and now he’s looking for them. Toby decides to offer his help and the two of them become friends. Teaming up, they build an invention that can fly, float, and drive on a road – a fantastic Voyager especially designed to help their search.

Meanwhile, the unscrupulous Sir Joshua and his super bad agents are hot on their heels, wanting to use Robby and the fantastic Voyager for their own evil plans. But even super bad agents should never, ever underestimate the power of best friends!

Olga, a Russian aristocratic immigrant and member of the French Resistance, is arrested by Nazi police for hiding Jewish children during a surprise raid. As her punishment, she is sent to jail where she meets Jules, a French-Nazi collaborator who is assigned to investigate her case. Jules grows fond of Olga and offers to go light on her punishment in exchange for sexual favours. Although Olga agrees, and will do whatever it takes to avoid harsh persecution, her hope for freedom quickly fades when events take an unexpected turn. Shipped to a concentration camp, Olga is forced into a life of hell. To her surprise, she crosses paths with high-ranking German SS officer Helmut, who once fell madly in love with her and still harbours feelings. They re-kindle their old flame and embark on a twisted and destructive relationship. Helmut resolves to rescue Olga and offers her an escape that she no longer thought possible.

When German philologist Ernst Pfeiffer enters her life, she begins to write her memoirs with him. Born 1861 in St. Petersburg she vows never to fall in love and to pursue intellectual perfection. She meets Paul Rée and Friedrich Nietzsche and against all conventions of time, Lou and Rée live and study together in Berlin. Lou attains her goal of an intellectual and free spirited life, but when she meets the young and still unknown writer Rainer Maria Rilke she falls in love. After they break up she has numerous affairs. Lou begins to attend Sigmund Freud’s lectures, becomes a well-esteemed psychoanalyst and finally recognizes the trauma of her youth.

Up in the Swiss Alps, just above a small town, lives Ursli with his parents, their animals, and his best friend Sereina who often comes to visit. He is a real mountain boy and has a special gift for caring and understanding animals. When late summer arrives, Ursli and his parents make their way down to the village, transporting their harvest by horse carriage. Suddenly, an accident occurs and they lose it all over a cliff. In order to survive the winter they now must make a deal with the unfriendly but wealthy store owner in the village, which puts them into debt. Ursli also has to give up his beloved goat to the rude son of the store owner. And as if things could not get any worse, Ursli receives the smallest bell of all kids for “Chalandamarz” and the kids make fun of him. “Chalandamarz” is a mountain ritual for which the kids chime the bells to banish winter and welcome spring. Ursli finally decides to take matters in his own hands… to help his parents and to find the biggest bell… which is hidden in a cabin on top of the mountain. The adventure is on!

The Germans are coming! To nose around and control the Greeks; because they are – as always – under suspicion of lying and cheating. With good reason! Joerg Geissner, employee of the Munich AVA bank, arrives on the Greek island Paladiki to check a loan granted some years ago. He has the suspicion that the hospital and power station set as collateral do not exist at all. But the Greeks aren’t foolish: Geissner, constantly accompanied by German-Greek Panos, a clever gigolo who ensures that Geissner won’t be too fast with his investigations, shall come and prove that there are no collaterals at all.

An odyssey begins for the bank employee, him against the rest of the island. But the more Geissner gets to know about Paladiki’s people, the more he becomes aware of the significance of his own role: The result of his visit will settle the future of the island. Alex Kusmin, a hitman working for the Russian mafia has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer when his boss, Nicolas Maximov, sends him to Berlin, to pick up something of high personal value for him: The watch, that Juri Gagarin wore on his first flight to outer space. Alex in Berlin living cousin Viktor, shall assist him. But when Alex arrives, he has to recognize that Viktor recently is going his own ways by setting up a prostitution ring. Alex decides to do at least one good deed before he dies by saving Viktor s latest victim Tanja, who just arrived from the Ukraine, dreaming of a model career. This is the start of a pursuit crosstown Berlin, where Alex meets such bizarre characters like Stanislaw, the Russian dealer in antiques, Orhan, a Turkish nightclub owner and Sergej, the reigning world champion in chess boxing. Without willing Alex again has to kill a lot of people to get the watch and save Tanja. When Alex finally fulfills his mission and passes Gagarin s watch to his boss, Maximov kills Alex instead of showing gratitude. A surprise? Not for Alex! He always knew that this would be the consequence of the mess he left behind in Berlin. But he dies also knowing that Tanja has a second chance to win a better life.
