Dr. Harry van der Zee Dr. Harry van der Zee Dr. Harry van der Zee has been practicing as a homeopathic physician in the Netherlands since 1987. He has been teaching homeopathy in many European countries as well as the USA, India, Africa and Japan. He taught with Karl Robinson at a summer school in Slovakia. Since 1996 he has been editor-‐in-‐chief of Homœopathic Links -‐ International Journal for Classical Homeopathy. While practicing as a conventional physician, he gained a deeper understanding of his patients' problems and the underlying issues, but he didn't have a way to treat them. That is where homeopathy came in. A homeopath friend gave him a copy of Kent's lectures, and he was hooked. Then he took the course from Vithoulkas studying the essence of remedies. He has also studied Geukens, Morrison, Herrick, Ghegas, and several others. He has been to Texas before as his eldest son and his daughter and her husband lived here for a couple of years. He has investigated the importance of the birth experience in homeopathic case-‐taking and published two books on the subject. They are "Miasms in Labour " published in 2000 and "Homeopathy for Birth Trauma" published in 2007. Through this work he has been able to meaningfully connect the homeopathic theory of miasms (hereditary archetypes connected to chronic diseases) with the individuation process, and thus provide a theoretical basis for understanding the role and purpose of individual and collective diseases in the process of human evolution. His presentation will be "Miasms as They relate to Trauma, Epidemics and Evolution" which he will illustrate with cases and short videos. The topics he will cover include: -‐the parallels he discovered between the phases of the birth process and the miasms -‐the role of epidemic diseases and miasms in the evolution of mankind (e.g. AIDS, malaria, TB, Lyme)
-‐ the connection between collective trauma and epidemic diseases -‐ effective ways of treating epidemic diseases -‐ effective ways of treating collective trauma -‐ the collective roots of individual diseases -‐ epigenetics as a modern understanding of miasms
Since 2004 he has been involved in projects in Africa and has moved from treating individuals and their diseases to finding solutions for collective derangements of the vital force as expressed in epidemic diseases and mass trauma. In 2007 he co-‐founded the Amma Resonance Healing Foundation, which focuses on treating and preventing epidemics, trauma and lifestyle diseases in developing countries (www.ARHF.nl). He teamed up with Peter Chappell and edited and published his book "The Second Simillimum" in 2005.
He wrote "Amma4Africa Manual -‐ Basic Guide to Treating Epidemic Diseases and Trauma " in 2009 (updated in 2014). In 2012, he and Peter Chappell wrote "Homeopathy for Diseases – Vital Remedies for Epidemics, Trauma and Chronic Diseases."
He has produced documentaries on treating AIDS, Malaria, Diabetes and Trauma due to war, genocide and rape (in Africa) and natural catastrophe (in Haiti) and trained health professionals on how to use disease-‐specific PC Resonances.
He organized Celebrating LINKS – The Homeopathic Conference (international conference in Heidelberg 2007) and Homeopathy for Developing Countries (international conference in Amersfoort 2009).
Together with Christopher Johannes he published the anthology "Homeopathy and Mental Health Care" in 2012.
He has trained health professionals in many African countries that now independently treat epidemics, trauma and chronic diseases using the PC Resonances provided to them by ARHF, and he has trained homeopaths that want to work as volunteers in low-‐income countries and disaster areas. ARHF has this training available online.
