TYPES OF POLLUTION

Oil pollution- tankers and oil platforms accidents.

Radioactive pollution. Draining dirty water and rubbish in

oceans. Mining.

RESULTS OF POLLUTION

Bigger development of seaweed- fish don´t have oxygen.

Food contamination- animals in sea or people can die.

Dying and hurting sea animals. Polluting of beaches. People on land are making 75% of

pollution in oceans.

BIGGEST POLLUTIONS

Oil tanker accident: In year 1989, near the coast of Alaska has crashed oil tanker Exxon Valdez. After the crash has on the sea level created an oil spill. It left on animals negative traces after 15 years too.

Exploding of oil platform: In year 2002 near the coast of Spain has boat Prestige crashed to the oil platform. It has almost destroyed fishing in this place. A lot of sea animals and bird have died.

PACIFIC OCEAN

Between California and Hawai islands is third most biggest rubbish dump in the world.

It has weight 3 tons and it´big 1600km2 and bigger than the smaller states of Europe.

The reasons of this poluttion are ocean currents and ejection of rubbish in oceans.
