Cameron’s private office

Jeremy Heywood, James Bowler, Ed Llewellyn (pictured) and Kate Fall all ensure the smooth running of No. 10 and Cameron’s private office. Kate Fall acts as Cameron’s gatekeeper.

Steve Hilton (pictured on left) will continue to have a wide-ranging focus, and more prominent since Coulson has left. He will communicate big picture themes to the commentariat. He works closely with Rohan Silva (pictured on right), his deputy.

Communications

Craig Oliver as Director of Communications will focus on communicating overarching themes – Big Society, the family and public service reform. Also focusing on broadcast and new media not just print.

Gabby Bertin, Alan Sendorek and Steve Field will handle day to day briefings.

Henry Macrory is now back at CCHQ as Deputy Political Director working on anti-Labour campaigns.

Political Strategy

Andrew Cooper (pictured) – will handle the strategic grid, and work on polling. Sources suggest he will be paying close attention to women/young people/working classes.

Political Policy

James O’Shaughnessy (pictured) and Polly Mackenzie will oversee political aspect of new policies, feeding in to new policy and implementation unit to ensure that policies do not pose difficulties for the Coalition.

This team also contains Tim Colbourne, Sean Worth and Gavin Lockhart.

Policy and Implementation Unit

Paul Kirby (pictured) and Kris Murrin are heading this new unit with eight other staff members.

They will ensure that the PM is briefed for policy discussions. The team will shadow key departments across Whitehall to ensure PM’s message gets through and is incorporated.

Ivan Collister heads this unit, which will analyse the statistical impact and rationale for key Government policies.
