Living accommodationDoris Emmerton Court has 66 large one-bedroom apartmentsspread over four floors. There are two lifts that serve the buildingand all apartments have central heating. All of the ground floor flatshave their own garden whilst the whole scheme has access to lovelycommunal gardens.
Services and securitySheltered housing officersThere are two experienced sheltered housing officers who areavailable to offer advice and to give assistance whenever necessary,Monday to Friday. An emergency warden responds to calls outsideregular office hours.
The sheltered housing officers generally looks after residents’ well-being, manages the block and will arrange any services such asmeals on wheels or home care.
But most of all sheltered housing officers provide a friendly andreassuring presence.
